Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

United KingdomOnly a slight observation. The separate toilet in the Junior suite felt very tight in space, especially when opening/ closing the door. It could do with being made wider, there is definitely the space in the room to do so.
The hotel is in a great location for the West End. As soon as you entered the hotel reception, the most incredible fragrance lingered. My husband and I were staying for my birthday celebrations and upon our arrival, we were told we had been upgraded to a Junior suite, which was a fabulous surprise! All of the staff were very attentive and made us feel very welcome. This is the 2nd time we have stayed, and will most definitely be returning back!

United KingdomThe tea at the breakfast was not good but I think that was down to the milk that was on the table. I had to go to reception for help getting into my room because the door jammed. Apparently it is a known issue with that particular room so it would be good if it could be fixed.
The location was great, it was right next to a Tube station and only about a 10 minute walk from Euston station. We picked the hotel because it was close to Monopoly Lifesized and that was only an 8 minute walk away. The breakfast was lovely; we had it included in the price which meant we had access to the continental breakfast. It included an assortment of breads, meats and cheeses plus the usual cooked breakfast and pastries. On top of that there was a menu at your table to have something cooked for you. I had the French Toast and my friend had the Eggs Benedict and both were very good.
