It was brilliant! The whole place is really beautiful with stunning views! The rooms are clean, cosy, and with soft pillows and beds. Every nook and cranny has a thoughtful touch. And the service was really good. Paul and Mairi were so accommodating and friendly. Our stay was definitely relaxing.

Nothing. Everything was done to perfection. Mairi is an amazing host who obviously loves hosting guests at her beautiful home.

Mairi was an amazing host. Nothing was ever too difficult. She and her husband used to be chefs and they cooked us an amazing dinner on the night of our stay. Hot breakfast was delicious and we especially enjoyed the croissants that they baked each morning. View from our room was so lovely, we found it hard to leave.

We stayed at Rockview for one night in beginning of May, we loved the central location in Portree with our room overlooking the water. Our room was cosy and tastefully decorated. Unfortunately we didn’t have the opportunity to try the breakfast that our host generously prepared, but we’d be sure to do so next time. You can tell hospitality is core for Mairi and Andrew, and we hope to be back in the future.

No hair conditioner… really it was a lovely place.

The room was very comfortable and clean, nice decorations as well. Bed was soft and shower was nice. They also had whisky for the guests which was a nice touch. Breakfast was delicious as well.

A very pleasant house in every respect, located in the city center. It's one of the nicest places we've stayed. There are even fast chargers for phones available.

Pay attention to car park times and make sure to pay for the correct times!

The view from the property was excellent. Our host was excellent. Very friendly and helpful. The breakfast provided was a real bonus. Was so delicious and the space was beautiful. Would stay here anytime we are in Portree and would recommend to anyone going to Portree. Easy walk to town and restaurants.

The only downside is the shower was extremely small but the shower head was fantastic!!

Our stay was wonderful! We loved the location, our hosts were brilliant and friendly. We loved our breakfast every morning, especially the hot freshly baked crossiants 🥐 The little touches did not go unnoticed, the whiskey on a side board in front of our room, the coffee, tea, the decor and the attention to detail. Thank you, we will be back!

It was a busy (event) weekend, so we weren’t able to go to our choice of restaurant. It would have been nice to know to book in advance; zero vacancy for meals once we arrived.

Breakfast was amazing, and prepared early for us to go hiking before check-out. The room was beautiful and the view…🤩🤩🤩. Location was perfect to walk for an evening meal. We were fortunate to get a parking spot out front, otherwise, options were given which I can’t say how far they were. Our hosts were two lovely people.

The rooms were beautifully and lovingly decorated and were very cozy. The beds were super comfortable. They had excellent quality towels. Our hosts were super friendly and accommodating. They really make an effort to make you happy and comfortable. Very good breakfast! Would definitely return if we're in the area ever again :-)
