A lovely little cottage with small details that made the stay even more enjoyable, Donna was there when needed and even answered my questions about where she got certain things in the rooms. Views from the balcony are great, a little bit out in the sticks but that is a plus as it is quiet and restful.

The midges. 🤣🤣 My friend had issues with the wifi but it worked alright for me.

Everything was superb and had great value for money. The cottage had everything we needed to be comfortable during our stay. It is indeed, a home away from home. I had the best sleep I had in years. Coming into the property, I was in awe of the sights. Our hosts put so much attention to detail and made sure we had all we needed. There was even prosecco waiting for us in the fridge. They compiled all the information we needed to maximise our visit to Skye. The place was so clean and smelled heavenly. Made me wanna stay in and forget about our plans. After a long day out, it was really refreshing to come back into our home for the duration of our stay. Donna and William even arranged transport to get to and from the property along with a side trip to the shop to get groceries. It was so thoughtful of them to do that. I loved everything about the property.

We have really enjoyed the cottage with the wonderful countryside view with the city noise near to none. The facilities were complete and the location is near to the portree town. Would really recommend this for anyone visiting the Isle of Skye.

If I really have to say something negative, the WiFi wasn't working too well, but that's a very minor point, as the LTE coverage was good.

This cottage is just beautiful. It has stunning views and is in the perfect location for exploring Skye, with the bonus of having Portree close by. The host was very welcoming and friendly. The cottage has everything you need and more. It is just stunning.

The location was fabulous. The hosts left the keys in the property. They left contact details and a postcard welcoming us. A bottle of prosecco, orange juice, shortbread - lovely touches. I loved this property. It was just beautiful. Will book again.

This was not a problem for us, but a guest with mobility limitations might have difficulty with an upstairs kitchen and living room.

Donna have thought of everything you think or didn't think you'd need in a cottage stay! Very well equipped, lovely decor, welcoming yet has character! The rooms were spacious as with the bathroom. The kitchen and living area are the perfect size for a getaway. It really was a home away from home, as we commented on how we could actually see ourselves living there! It is great to wake up to sheep and greenery! Would stay again when back in Skye.

Beautifully decorated with everything you need for a stay away from home - really, everything has been thought of. The views from the balcony are amazing and it’s just so peaceful. The welcome goodies were also a nice touch. We didn’t meet Donna, the host, in person due to Covid, however she was always available via message or phone if needed (we didn’t need to get in touch during our stay, but good to know you can). The cottage is around 2 and a half miles (4K) from the centre of Portree, so if you like a drink of an evening, make sure you order a taxi in advance before the pubs shut as one night we were left stranded and had to walk home just after midnight. A lot of the walk was in pitch darkness too. Just a little tip! 😁 That aside, we’d most definitely return. The cottage - and Skye - is just beautiful!

Charming cottage in a great location. Everything we needed was there. Lots of very nice touches (bottle of Prosecco, shortbread, etc) and good advice for day trips on the Isle of Skye. The kids loved the garden. It was great sitting on the balcony enjoying the view and watching them play. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will stay here again if we come back on the Isle of Skye.

Having to go home!!

Beautiful cottage, very near to Portree. Some welcome snacks, and drinks left by Donna. A lovely touch. Great base for travelling round Skye.
