The pub and its floor and furnitures were not clean. Surprisingly always it had a crowd likely due to affordability and being a common man pub.

Near to bus stop . Very good people and hospitality . Kind of busy old style pub with rooms upstairs. Room and bed was clean . People are really nice and welcoming. Hot Breakfast was good. Cost is cheaper.

I had to wait awhile to get checked in, the lift needed new peice of flooring.

It was close to th bus stop, not to far from Birmingham City Centre.

So.. when first arriving i was a bit worried as the area looked a bit dodgy and the pub looked a bit like a local boozer (which is it). It just looked like somewhere I wouldn’t choose to go basically. However we parked up about 2 o’clock and there was quite a bit of parking for free which was good. We had to go into the pub to check in and a local was nice and directed us to the bar for check in. Nice and quick check in and rooms were actually ok. Surface level clean, defo need needed a deep scrub in corners of floor and shower etc but surface clean like sheets towels sink all clean at first glance. Just don’t look closer 😂 Was it great no, but it was ok and i did feel Safe at night once in my room. For the price and location I would use again if going to a gig at o2 institute.

The property was cheap and in a location close to the o2 institute, we could get a bus right outside the hotel into centre and also after the institute also a bus right outside back to hotel so saved a lot on taxis and also time as bus was every 7 mins!!!! Amazing Free car parking a plus Staff were friendly

The area close to the hotel littered with rubbish everywhere. Off putting. We know that, that is out of the hotels control.

Clean, comfortable and value for money. Staff friendly and helpful.

The pub was a dive, full of nutters from all walks of life. Super friendly though. The porter let someone into the room near mine at some ungodly hour at night and spoke in the loudest voice, he needs training on night time voices! Loads of fixtures and fittings in the room were broken or wonky, the window didn't shut properly and felt like it might fall off its hinges. The toilet seat shifted around as you sat on it. Bin lid was missing, mirror light didn't work etc.

Very cheap and cheerful accommodation. No frills, but smelt clean in the room. Huge king size bed. Decent shower. Quiet outside, couldn't hear the traffic etc. Bar was full of a mixed crowd, could see it being intimidating for a lone female traveller. Fine for short trips or business, not exactly a holiday location. Was able to park my luton right outside on the street, for 'normal' vehicles they have there own car park.

The overall venue was comfortable however would benefit from Somme TLC and a refresh.

The breakfast was lovely and served by a lovely lady who was very helpful and welcoming. I dealt with a staff member the night before who I believe was called Jo. She was lovely and I ended up staying in the bar all night.

Outside the entrance was a lot of broken bottles/glass and the entrance didn't give clear directions to get to Reception. Looked a bit shabby which was a shame because the room was lovely = a lick of paint and clean carpet would do wonders. No dropped curb into the car park

Simple single room with ensuite which was great for what I needed. Bed was comfortable. Shower was amazing - hot and powerful. Easy access to local retail park and fabulous restaurants for evening dinner - I walked up to the high street alone and had a wonderful Persian meal

It was match day and pub below very busy on Saturday b4 ko and after game. Check in was through the bar to a little hatch, which was a little uncomfortable with a teenage son.

It was reasonably priced for a one night stay.

Some parts of the hotel corridors, lift and bar had a bad smell The tea bags in the room were neither packaged nor stored in an airtight container Toilet roll was too big to fit in the toilet roll holder

The room was tidy and looked nice The heating in the hotel was well controlled Complimentary coffee and sugar was provided It is located very close to St. Andrews Stadium and lots of shops are within walking distance In the daytime, there were friendly staff members who were willing to help guests

No help given. I asked for toilet paper, none given. I asked for toiletries, none given. I asked for the heater to be turned on, it did not. No reception staff present at all after check in. Breakfast there was no options at all, one meal offered, that’s all. The room Was not matched to the booking details, ie: no desk, no computer chair, the shower door was broken and it was not rainfall shower.
