1) The old building meant creaking floorboards. We were lucky that for the first 2 days of our stay there was nobody staying in the top floor apartment immediately above us. Unfortunately on our last evening we were very conscious of people above and sadly it turned out that they were early risers as we were woken up at 6am as they moved about the apartment above for the next couple of hours. As light sleepers we would not risk staying at Royal Parade again unless the top floor apartment was available - and we felt we could cope with the stairs! 2) A few things in the kitchen:- There was no microwave which surprised us so we had to use the energy guzzling large oven which we would have preferred not to use. There was also no oven glove which meant getting things out of the oven rather hazardous! Also no baking trays. There was no milk provided which lots of people have commented on though the shop downstairs was very handy.

The location was great and the apartment very clean and comfortable. It was very handy having the convenience store next to the front door. The decor of the apartment was quirky but it all fitted the theme! Communicating with the host, both before and during our stay was easy and they were very helpful. Despite the busy road outside, the apartment for the most part was quiet - but see below.

The location is fantastic right in the centre of all the lovey shops and next to the beautiful Harrogate gardens. There’s also a small convenience store for groceries

Everything was great but just a minor thing would be that there wasn’t any milk. Even a couple of small UHT cups would have been good to have with the coffee available.

Parking in the area could be a problem as the two spaces at the rear of the property are very tight and could be occupied already. Also if stairs are a problem then this may not be the apartment for you.

Just a couple of niggles, the toilet wasn’t screwed down so a bit wobbly and the pipe in the bathroom sink came off at one sending water spilling out. A quick bang into place fixed it but it needs a permanent fix. Beautiful apartment overall and I would stay again.

It’s an old building so it was cold in the living room in the morning, as the windows do let in the cold. There is a heavy set of curtains that we should’ve closed. It didn’t upset our trip (especially as we had an excuse to put the lovely real effect fire on 😃)

Great location. Easy walking distance to shops, bars, restaurants, parks, museum and Turkish baths. Comfortable and cozy. Stayed in between Christmas and New Year and appreciated the lovely touches of the Christmas tree and other decorations. Had everything we needed, and a little shop 2 doors away for milk. Free parking space (tight if you have a larger car, but parking is a premium in Harrogate) we appreciated it.

I was surprised there was no Harrogate or Yorkshire soap to show off the wonderful Yorkshire products they have around them. Having climbed three floors there was no milk in the fridge so I had to wait for a cup of tea and I ran out of teabags very quickly.

The property was excellent and in a great location for everything I wanted to do. It had everything I needed and I was very comfortable. Even though the apartment was above a busy road it was relatively quiet.

Just need to be aware there is no parking, but a short walk away there is a 24hour carpark at the winter gardens. The apartment is on 2nd floor so there are stairs to apartment.

The apartment was in an incredible location. The Rajastan apartment was beautifully decorated and well equipped.
