I was made to feel at home right away. I chose to drive to Porthtowan beach for a fabulous fish and chips supper and returned to find an offer of a lovely coffee and cake in my room. A lovely night’s sleep was followed by a fabulous breakfast with a great view of the garden and beyond.

There was nothing at all we didn't like. We would definitely stay there again.

Very clean beautiful rooms and ensuites with everything you could possibly need with extra special touches. Delicious cooked breakfast made with locally sourced produce. Very friendly owners and very nice atmosphere. Great location in quiet area near good road links. Near to very good pubs for other meals. Close to seaside towns, villages and a coastal road from Perranporth to Hayle with countless breathtaking beaches to go to along it with footpaths to explore to headlands and coastal paths along clifftops with amazing views. Highly recommend staying here.

Excellent room but the biggest like is the personal touches provided by Rachel the owner. Came back from long SW coast path walk to find a tea tray and cake set up in room. When I departed a goodie bag given with water, apple, cookie. Breakfast is superb with Rachel’s freshly made bread accompanying. Cannot fault this place.

Be aware that there is nowhere to eat in Mount Hawke, so you will either need to walk a couple of miles or drive (or get something from the convenience store)

Rachel was the perfect host, welcoming me with tea and cake, offering a lift to the nearest pub/restaurant and cooking a delicious breakfast. The room was comfy, with a beautiful roll-top bath

Comfortable and convenient, with an impressively large conservatory for breakfasts. The hostess was welcoming and attentive to needs (inc gluten free toast) - as well as providing lovely surprises (eg pot of tea on arrival & plum gin at bedtime)!

    Nothing--this venue is exceptional

The breakfast area is in a lovely conservatory with a nice view over the garden. The full english breakfast for myself was perfect , and the vegan breakfast for my wife was one of the best she has ever had. From the lovely chocolates/ cookies left in room for our nights return--to the homemade Gin and Goodies bag on our departure. Everything is thought of to make you feel special !!

    Nothing at all

A very warm welcome with homemade cake & coffee sat in the beautiful conservatory was so welcome after our journey. The bedroom lacked nothing, so many little extras you could possibly need supplied. Rachel made us feel so special throughout our stay, homemade gin & fudge hearts as a nightcap & a goodie bag for our journey home. Breakfast was served like a five star hotel with a homemade touch of beautiful bread & preserves. Best bed & breakfast ever,!
