The upstairs bedroom in Orchard cottage had very poor ventilation and was quite warm. It was ok for us, but in summer it would be unbearable.

8 of us stayed here in 3 of the cottages for a wedding at Pylewell Hall. Ideal location and in beautiful surroundings, furnished very well, flap jacks were amazing the best I’ve ever tasted. The horses greeting you in the morning was lovely. Hosts were very helpful and accommodating.

It has everything you need and is very very cosy. The facilities are amazing and having parking available, Carl and Hayley are lovely people and always there to help and if you need anything and the little things like milk and tea and homemade flapjacks, second year we’ve come here and can’t wait to come back next year. Love it here and so close to everything we want to do. Thank you for a lovely stay

A user guide for the oven/hob and wifi details on hand would have been helpful.

A brilliant stay for a weekend away with friends. Cosy and perfectly located within the New Forest, we loved our stay. The house is fitted out with everything you need to make the most of a self-catered getaway.

Really just some very minor things. There was some noise through the night in our bedroom from the other cottages (maybe from other AC/heating units) - we were able to mask this with our own fan and sleep ok though. Hot water was somewhat limited, but we understand that given the farm setting etc. Wood decking outside the door gets very slippery when wet, so might be good to add a mat or similar.

Lovely setting and large garden (we didn't use it due to the time of year / weather, but it was lovely to look at). Really appreciated the welcome coffee, treats and milk in the fridge. Lovely comfy sofa and big tv with Netflix etc. Kitchen well equipped, with dishwasher etc. Parking is easy and directions really clear. The hosts were attentive and welcoming, and replied quickly to any queries we had. The cottage is in a courtyard with several other cottages but feels very private inside.

I hadn’t appreciated that the bedrooms would be quite so “combined”, I’m glad I was with family.

I liked the decoration and layout downstairs, plenty of room.

Minor imperfections to do with the front door blind, bath towels and cleaning pad under the sink.

The host was friendly but not intrusive, they were considerate and there to help if we needed anything. The accommodation had most things that we needed and was modern. Reliable AC was a plus.

There was nothing to not like about the cottage

We stayed in orchard cottage. From the moment we walked through the front door we was both very impressed. Very clean and tidy and nicely decorated in keeping with the building. Our cottage had a log burner as well as central heating. A lovely private enclosed garden. We was both able to totally relax here in the cottage

There was nothing we didn't like about our stay. Each cottage allows for 1 car however we had 2 per cottage. This would be difficult if there were 4 people staying in the cottages. Carl helped us with parking the additional cars so this wasn't an issue for our stay

Carl helped us find the cottages when we arrived. He was very friendly. The cottages were spacious (Shepherds Crook and The Piggery), very clean and modern with the countryside touches. Beautiful location. There was a great deal of attention to detail with the small things such as tea, coffee and milk.
