It's a long steep walk down to the city. We got a taxi back which cost about the same as 6 or 7 hours in a city centre long stay car park. The location is good for exploring the countryside but not so handy for the city.

The bungalow was well equipped with electric cooker, microwave, toaster, kettle and everything in the kitchen. There was a range tea and coffee available. There was a very large fridge freezer and a dishwasher. Plenty of space for five or six people to sit in the sitting room and watch the TV. A range of DVD and books were available. Great views of the city of Bath. I expect it would be good to sit out in the garden although it was too cold went we visited to do so. The location would be a good base to explore the wider area.

No issues, property was self check in and out which was no issue due to being given all relevant details needed. If had to say anything the lane into our lodge was a little narrow.

Property was quiet homely peaceful. Beautiful view over bath was everything and more for a short break and somewhere close to town to see the Christmas market. the pictures don't do enough justice for what this property offers and for nearly half the price of some b&b's/ hotels locally. Will definitely book again.

The radiators need bleeding in the bedrooms so a little chilly. Apart from that no complaints at all

It was difficult to get a taxi or uber on the Friday night. Not sure if it is because it is a little way out of the city centre.

The location was close enough to the city centre to be convenient, but far enough out to be quiet and close to a the lovely skyline walk.

Beautiful location with amazing views and surrounds. Bungalow itself was full of character and well equipped. Spacious and homely, we wished we could have stayed longer than the single night our itinerary allowed. Very happy to recommend.

Thr property was gorgeous. This was my first time with my family in bath. My parents were amazed. There was a stunning garden full of apples. The cottage was so wonderful and cute. Great selections of movies.

If you don't have a car it's a bit out of the way. A pleasant walk down the hill into town, but unless you're very fit you'll need to get a bus or taxi back.

The kitchen would benefit from a bigger frypan and more crockery.

Absolutely stunning location. it was too far for us to walk into Bath, but the hills location was unbeatable for ambience. The bungalow is rustic, quirky and spacious. The gardens are a bit wild, but charming. The appliances are all top notch -especially the washer and drier. Lashings of hot water and a good shower head. The bathroom was very spacious and had stunning views. We had a visit from a lovely cat who also enjoyed the cottage. If you are expecting a modern, shiny, 5 star stay book elsewhere! if you like character and privacy, this is for you.

Gorgeous view but unfortunately slightly obstructed by the overgrown hedges.

Amazing communication with the host. He messaged us straight after booking with all the relevant information and then sent another message a day prior to our arrival as a prompt. The instructions were very easy to follow even when we were arriving in the dark. Very spacious cottage. Large bedrooms with comfortable beds. Very large bathroom. Well stocked and equipped kitchen. Great location - walking distance to Bath City centre but a bit of an uphill on the way back :)

whilst this is a beautiful property it did present a problem as both bedrooms had double beds. Having two older sons twin beds would have been better
