Ham and sausage of full Scottish Breakfast, which were overcooked and hard. Shower was not good.

The room furniture was very nice. View from the window was good. Staff were friendly and helpful. Dog friendly. We enjoyed the seafood platter, which was excellent!

A minor point: probably it can't be improved because of low water pressure, but shower was on the weak side.

Amazing view from lounge; kindness and welcome from reception and restaurant staff; both breakfast and dinner were very good because of food quality and service.

This isn’t the property fault but be warned about the midges (wee flies that would try the patience of Saint)

The location is perfect for visits to the abbey and the north shore’s white Sandy beaches. There’s plenty of space around the hotel to relax.

Excellent dining. Staff going above and beyond...they alerted me that my check in time is incompatible with the last ferry. Most importantly, you will get to see 'empty' Iona... before the day tourists arrive and after they leave.

The room was very basic even though it was clean and comfortable. The en suite was very small. The food was a little disappointing and not value for money.

The staff were incredibly welcoming and efficient. The lounge was comfortable with a wonderful view.

I just felt that the single room was a little overpriced for what it was - it reminded me a bit of student accommodation. On the mainland I could get a much larger (double) room with more modern facilities for around £20 less. That said, you are paying a premium for the location and it wouldn't put me off staying again.

Location was perfect for exploring the island of Iona and very easy to get to from the ferry. The room was clean, comfortable and functional. Breakfast was excellent!

    Nothing.

Great views across the sound of Iona in the distance, birds singing, sheep grazing in the foreground whenever we sit to eat at the restaurant. Great selection of breakfast and dinner and especially recommend the fresh local lamb. Vegetables and fruit from own organic garden. Room was neat and bed was comfy.

The walls and ceiling in room may be a bit thin so could hear upstairs guests moving and walking all the time, and people in the lounge. But maybe they put us in an unfortunate location. Not a big deal though, unless you are sensitive to these things.

Location near abbey excellent, magical. Hotel grounds lovely. Breakfast and dinner wonderful (not big portions though). Iona island is heaven. Staff exceptional, really nice all of them.

Only one minor quibble, which was that the bed-head light had not been checked and was not working. This didn't affect my comfort adversely, as I didn't need it.

Welcome was courteous and friendly... All staff struck a good balance between professional attentiveness and relaxed human warmth, and showed a willingness to go out of their way to be helpful... And the food was excellent.

Would have preferred the option of a TV in the room, limited menu to expensive dinner would have liked some cheaper and less posh options but amazing food it thats your thing.

Amazing location and the most attentive staff who couldn’t do enough for you, everything spotless, comfy room and dog friendly.
