Beautiful scenery right in front of the house. It seems to have been recently renovated. Having a loaf of bread, jug of milk and some snacks left by the hosts was a very heartwarming touch of hospitality. The location is ideal for short trips to different attractions around the isle.

Could have used instructions on adjusting the heat/air and towel warmer. Shower is a bit small.

Hard to dry clothes if the weather is bad outside.

Beautiful cottage, plenty of room for a family of 4. Modern appliances, clean, well organised and all the necessary amenities. Far enough from town that its a quiet location but close enough to town that a short drive puts you back in town. Beautiful view from the front windows.

We would have used a home manual with information about how to use certain appliances and aspects of the home. We had to message the host twice; however, they were more than responsive for both of our inquiries.

The house had all the amenities required for a comfortable stay. The kitchen had all the needed appliances for cooking meals. The living space was well appointed with comfortable furniture and a gas fire place. The bedrooms were perfect for our family of four (two teenagers). The location was perfect. We were able to get to Neist Point lighthouse within one hour; the Quiraing within 25 minutes, and Old Man of Storr within 40 minutes. Portree is a 10 minute drive with a large, fully stocked Co-Op grocery. The home is located across from the water with stunning sunrise views in the mornings. We absolutely loved our stay!

Absolutely nothing!

This home is ideally located on island for seeing all the sites. The hostess was extremely communicative. In fact, when we were lost trying to find the home, she drove to us and led us to it! We stayed three nights including Sunday and Monday when just about all restaurants are closed. No problem, as there is a Coop just 10 minutes down the road in Portree. We bought fixings for three nights and cooked dinner when we returned from sightseeing each evening. It was truly like living on island in an extremely comfortable home for three days. We loved it!

It has nothing to do with the house or Gastbeber! Just for info: The house is about 10 km from Portree. There are no shops or cafes/restaurants around the house. So plan ahead for groceries shopping or going out for dinner/lunch. In high season it is almost impossible to get a seat in restaurants/pubs in Portree without a reservation.

The house in in great condition and newly renovated. Easy communication with host. We had a brief problem with the heating, but the host was there immediately and fixed all the problems.
