Location was great - a beautiful part of Wales and so many things to do! The cottage was spotlessly clean, cosy and very well equipped. We enjoyed the welcome basket with a good selection of beverages and some yummy Welsh cakes.

Advertised as having WiFi but it wasn't working. For a two day stay this was also a positive. However, likely to be a problem if staying for longer or if you plan to do some work.

Spotlessly clean ,everything you needed ,very peaceful, shower was brilliant . Lovely owner Paul who helped with our finding the property guided us along on the phone when our satnav failed us & gave us lots of advice & information in the area. Nice touch with a welcome pack & fresh flowers too ☺️would recommend this property with no hesitation.

Only the smallest of things and because the weather was so awful for April and it had been a tricky and very long drive.. the heating hadn't been on so the cottage was cold. Would've been lovely to come into a cosy, warm space.

Compact and comfortable cottage in beautiful surroundings with a friendly welcome. Lots of dog-friendly touches and the cleanest dog-welcoming accommodation we've ever stayed in...no dog hair on cushions or sofa which is hard to maintain

Beautiful property which has been converted wonderfully - a really comfortable and snug place to stay, a home from home. The owners were also so lovely and helpful. It was spotlessly clean with so many amenities. The owners left a really kind Easter gift (flowers and chocolates) and present for our dog - a really thoughtful and lovely touch. Thank you!

Stayed in the Hayloft. Really nicely renovated, very comfortable bed, quiet and relaxing area. Not far from the seaside and hiking opportunities starting right from the cottage. Hosts are really inviting, dog friendly and we really appreciated the detail and the passion they had for their place when we arrived.

Fabulous greeting. We were quite late, but Sally and Paul met us and didn’t rush telling us of attractions near by and giving us recommendations. So friendly. We were made to feel they really wanted us to make the most of our time in the area. The best welcome of any holiday/break we’ve ever had. Facilities were also amazing.

The owners have really made an effort to help guests find their feet in the area by providing useful personal recommendations for day trips and places to eat as well as providing local guide books and maps of local walks. The owners made us welcome on arrival, made sure we were happy with everything then left us to enjoy the space. Lovely isolated location, great for birding and walking. No light pollution so good for watching the night sky.

The warm welcome by the hosts was lovely. Amazing cottage in a beautiful location and very cozy. Would recommend for people who like remote locations and are driving on their holiday, we were visiting Aberystwyth so about half an hour drive. Almost no light pollution at night so could see all the stars! Great stay, would come again!

The place was so beautiful and quiet, the bed was amazing to sleep in , you had everything you would want for self catering, attention to detail is amazing, even down to dog towels embroidered with the cottage name on it, outside it is dog friendly and fully enclosed.

The leather sofa wasn't comfortable, it was rather hard and made it unpleasant to stay comfy and cozy. The other chairs were wooden I had to use the cushions from the sofa to be able to sit right, but honestly it was hard for me to really find a downside. The other thing was the internet, but being that far away I understand connection speeds can be a real issue so I knew that before going. Other than that there really wasn't anything else we could nitpick.

Everything was great, from the kitchen, the bathroom and the bedroom. Location was beautiful and I really enjoyed being so remote away from everything, I asked for little decorations and they didn't disappoint. They were very welcoming and didn't hesitate to tell us all the great spots to visit, great hosts.

We loved the location - hills one side and a fabulous view over the valley - easy access to the coast or mountains. The clear dark skies allowed us to stargaze. The facilities and cleanliness of the cottage made our stay perfect.
