We had a great stay. Our room was spacious, clean, and the bed super comfortable. There is a lounge and kitchen for everyone to use which was really handy. The location is great for walking into Lyndhurst and the rest of the new forest. The kind man who runs the place was so friendly and welcoming which was great!

very clean comfortable with a great eye for detail. I had the use of a well equipped sitting room , dining room and kitchen. my bedroom and bathroom were a good size. I would recommend Forest Side Guesthouse Marcus was terrific

We absolutely loved eveything ! From the lovely welcoming to the cosy lounge in the morning waiting for the rain to stop before cycling. The room was beautiful and beds amazing ! Such a lovely house and so well decorated !

It was all perfect .

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Forest Side it was just perfect. A lovely large bright room which was so comfortable and relaxing and we had everything we needed. It was decorated beautifully and spotlessly clean. We really liked being able to make tea and coffee whenever we wanted and having access to all the facilities in the lovely big kitchen especially breakfast which was well stocked with all you could want for breakfast. Staff were very friendly especially the owner of the guesthouse who was so lovely and friendly and he very kindly let us park in the guesthouse car park before check in. Forest side is also so close to Lyndhurst town and for a lovely forest walk both only a few minutes walk away. We will definitely be staying here again we were made to feel very welcome on arrival and also during our staying.

The location was excellent. we could walk into Lyndhurst. The room had everything that one would need. The breakfast was well prepared and hot. Excellent staff.

Lovely & clean room & very spacious. . Very helpful owner.Had a dietary requirement & very accommodating. Ideal location as only a ten minute walk to the town where there are plenty of cafes & restaurants. We popped in to the fox & hounds & listened to live music on a Saturday.

Wonderful accommodation...Marcus and Isabel were lovely hosts. The position of the house is exceptional as it is in walking distance to Lyndhurst town centre and opposite Boltons Bench. Perfect 🥰

The B&B was in a brilliant location close to shops and restaurants in Lyndhurst. The room was lovely and spacious, extremely clean and the bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was cooked to order and it was delicious and plentiful. We had a lovely, relaxing weekend away at Forest Side. Thank you

When paying and leaving thought it was odd the owner charged the wrong price by accident then when i pointed it out she told us how little that was for her which made us feel bad for not paying more than what we booked with. It was an odd way to leave after such a lovely stay.

Not having the breakfast, which has such good reviews, was disappointing, but circumstances were beyond proprietor’s control and equivalent value was refunded.

Unfortunately breakfast wasn’t available, but otherwise accommodation was good.

There was nothing not to like.

The room was lovely and clean and the bed was extremely comfortable. It was also very peaceful as our room was on the top floor. The mini fridge was very useful for keeping drinks cold. The location was perfect for walking into town and for visiting Denny's Wood. Rosetta was a lovely warm welcoming host and very helpful. We had a fantastic 3 nights stay at Forest Side Guest House.

given the huge size of the bathroom, it was odd that the shower was so small. not a big deal really though as everything else was outstanding

TV needs looking at. Poor reception and very few available channels. Wasn’t a major problem for me but could be for others.

Great location on edge of Lyndhurst. Free parking. Nicely decorated and very comfortable. Good value for money. Great hosts.

Rosetta was the perfect host. She was so warm and welcoming and had the answer to all our questions without intruding. I cannot stress enough just how clean the room was. Having travelled a bit recently I don’t think I’ve seen a hotel/guesthouse room so clean in quite some time. The bed was a king, with a firm mattress offering a great night’s sleep. Extra pillows were readily available in the wardrobe. Tea and coffee facilities in the room were also appreciated. The mini fridge was also more than adequate to meet our needs. The location, although not right in the village was good for us. Just a 5 minute stroll to the centre of town. Also slap bang next door to an excellent restaurant. We heard no road noise, nor that of other guests, in the bedroom. A great stay.
