The Bay Tree is such a beautiful little gem, surrounded by natural beauty and nature and in walking distance of the lovely local pubs (The Talbot Inn is wonderful). Anita and Mick went above an beyond to ensure our stay was perfect. Thank you so much!

Breakfast was excellent, super location with a lot's of things to do. Anita ( the host) exceeded our expectations, and I would recommend to everyone. Beautiful garden, combined with a perfect location for Alton towers, clean and big rooms. One of the best B&B I've seen so far.

The location was great - surrounded by countryside and waking up without the sound of traffic. The facilities were excellent - clean and tidy, a lovely seating area on the patio, private parking and an amazing freshly cooked breakfast. Anita was an exceptional host and cannot recommend enough

The property itself is beautiful - Anita’s attention to detail was really outstanding. Any need that we had was catered for, the garden is stunning and the surrounding lands are beautiful too. I could not rate this high enough. If you’re looking to stay in the area to go to Alton Towers, this is far better than staying at the resort, and extremely reasonably priced in comparison too. 10/10

The Bay Tree is fabulous! Anita & Mick were very welcoming & informative from the start, and we immediately felt at home. The rooms & communal areas are finished to the highest standard and are kept immaculately clean by them both. Every last detail has been considered. The freshly cooked breakfasts by Anita were outstanding too and no request was too much trouble. Perfect hosts & a perfect stay. How refreshing! We would not hesitate to return & recommend.

Everything was so perfect! Anita is a wonderful host who sent us lots of information and was quick to answer our questions before we arrived. We were visiting Alton Towers around my partners birthday, and some lovely birthday wishes, treats and decorations had been left for us in the room. Everything was immaculately clean and modern, the beds were comfy, lots of parking space, and the vast breakfast options were delicious. The bedroom, bathroom and dining room had everything we could possibly need. There are restaurants in the town (pre-book tables as they fill up with Alton Towers visitors in the evening!) and takeaway delivery options too. Alton and the surrounding area is great for exploring, and Anita kindly recommended lots of beautiful walks for us to do while we were there. We're so grateful to Anita for making this stay so special for us - we can't recommend it enough and can't wait to visit again!

There was not a thing I didn't like

What I loved about the Bay Tree was firstly how friendly and welcoming the owners are. This is now mine and my sons second visit and both times they have went above and beyond what a hotel could and should look like. Spotless, brilliant layout close to alton and good views. If I ever go back to alton towers guarantee I will stay here and use mum's motors for my travel

We both enjoyed the whole stay with the Bay tree. Overall great place to stay with a great host and a great breakfast. The rooms were very clean and very comfortable. We felt very welcome and is in a great location for either a getaway or the obvious, Alton towers.

This is was amazing experience, host Anita did everything possible and impossible to make our stay unforgettable. The hosts could not do enough for us, they were welcoming and gave plenty of pre-communication and on arrival was very lovely hosts. Breakfast was amazing, with plenty of fresh, local and tasty choices. The location was amazing for Alton Towers, pubs, shops etc, I strongly recommend staying here!

Location (for a visit to Alton Towers) was brilliant - the theme park only a 5minute drive. Great local evening eating options, but the breakfast was superb - there was nothing you could want for ! Everything a breakfast could possibly be - with the Full English cooked fresh to suit your every preference

The entrance to the carpark following sat nav was a little confusing in the dark. Possibly a lit sign on the entrance would be a help however, the carpark area was clearly being updated (beautifully may I add) and this is maybe a feature that they haven't quite gotten around to yet. I expect most people arrive at a more reasonable hour also.

This accommodation was a pleasure from start to finish. The location is less than a 10 minute drive to Alton Towers and yet far enough away to feel like you're in idyllic countryside. The room had everything you could require with lovely little touches like fresh farm milk in the mini fridge. The host couldn't have been more delightful, helpful or accommodating. The lounge and dining area and the selection of freshly made snacks and drinks available was a beautiful touch and was very much appreciated after a long journey! In addition, breakfast with it's various options and wonderfully fresh produce was Devine. Thank you so very much Anita for your hospitality. Perfect.

Anita was very welcoming. Before our stay, we received lots of information regarding local places to eat, directions and WI-FI etc. This was ideal for us as we already had booked a local restaurant for our evening meal after travelling nearly 2 hours, based on Anita’s recommendations. The property is immaculate and smells amazing throughout! It is clear Anita pays close attention to detail in all that she does. The breakfast options were fabulous, from baked pastries, cereal, yogurts, fresh fruit to full English’s. It is all available at the Baytree. The food was delicious and freshly cooked each morning. What was also a lovely feature was the snack area containing a variety of hot and cold drinks, crisps and biscuits that guests were able to access. After a full day at Alton Towers we needed a very late night snack, so was grateful that we had this option. Anita was friendly, welcoming and a wonderful host. Nothing was too much trouble. She even placed banners, balloons and confetti in our room as it was my partners birthday.

The hosts were amazing, even dried our clothes after a soaked day out. It was the little touches that made this an enjoyable stay. Located within 5 minutes of Alton Towers, this B&B is perfect to avoid the early morning traffic. The accommodation make you feel like you're in a home away from home. The shared common room provides a place to relax, play games provided, read a multitude of books available or just rest up on the loungers. The staff are welcoming, knowledgeable and offer great local suggestions. They provide and amazing breakfast, open snack station and in room fridges. Be warned.....the beds are so comfortable you may never get up!

Bedroom was lovely with a super comfortable bed and invigorating shower and lovely super soft pillows and towels. Proximity to Alton Towers and the local pub was incredible only a stones throw away. Breakfast 🍳 was the best I’ve ever had in a guest house and the welcome 🤗 home made scones / chocolate & banana 🍌 cake were a lovely touch. The garden view at breakfast is stunning and relaxing and Anita is an exceptional hostess as is very friendly, charismatic and very knowledgeable about the surrounding area. I loved my stay at The Bay Tree and will most definitely return. We were made to feel very welcome on arrival and for the entire duration of our stay. I would unreservedly recommend this property to others wanting to stay in the Alton Towers area.
