The rooms are a bit rough and ready, holes in the walls, shower falling off the wall etc, but you get what you pay for.

It was extremely hot inside the room, and it was only 20°C outside. I do not want to imagine how hot it would be on a hot summer day. The wall needs repairs and new painting. No receptionists available, poor busy waiters in the pub need to also attend the reception.

Good price, quiet location, good shower and plenty of parking.

Rooms need a bit of an upgrade, paint and deep clean.

Friendly staff, good location, comfortable beds and a great price.

Room very small and could do with upgrading. Breakfast not included, however, available in restaurant - but it did not open until 9.00am and by the time food was served it was around 9.10am - meaning that if you were on business or otherwise had to leave early in morning you'd have to leave with no breakfast. I would have thought that in a hotel breakfast should be available from at least 8.30am if not earlier. (The food was good when it came).

Good location for what I needed. Plenty of free parking. Staff very friendly and helpful. Tea & Coffee facilities in room.

The rooms are quite small not anymore space than to get the door open and get to the bed. The room was extremely warm with no way I could find of changing the temperature even with the window open.

Staff are great very helpful and friendly. Parking was available rightoutside the entrance. The rooms had everything you needfor your stay

Staff were great, communication before arrival was brilliant and prompt. Room was tiny but it did the job.

The room was far too hot. I have stayed before in cooler weather and it was fine but with the hot weather there was no circulation even with the window open and there were no fans available. It didn't even cool down much overnight, so it was a very uncomfortable night.

The staff were brilliant and friendly. Very good communication beforehand and really helpful. Room was clean, and price was very reasonable.

Entrance could do with bigger Titan sign as main sign was for hungry horse so missed the turning on the first pass. Noisy neighbour returned at 01:30 and exercised the headboard after slamming the door. Not hotel fault but still disturbing. Very little room to pass the bed 6” gap to get to en-suite

Food selection was reasonable can cater for most tastes. Portions were generous. Parking is free and plentiful.

the room was way to small, you had to climb over the bed to get to the bathroom for example! the bed itself was lumpy and horrible. also didn’t like turning up at 7.45 to be told the just closed the kitchen even tho says open to 9pm and the worst part was I had only phoned a few days before to make sure I could get something to eat on arrival and was assured I would and yet I never!

there was rubbish behind a bedside table in our room the shower had soap smears on the walls the cleaners knocked on our door at 8 am and asked if we were in???

Hot water issues meant the rooms were a constant sauna. Refurbishment needs to happen very soon.

It had all you would need .OK Room .no noise.ok pub.polite staff..Good receptionist and bar staff Easy to book and not too dear unlike others. It was 2 nights not 1.

The road outside was noisy from road traffic and I was allocated a room at the front, though I had requested a quiet room. I had to open the window as the sun was shining all day into the room so I needed to ventilate on my return. It was nice to have sunshine in Scotland though 😊

The staff were lovely, the room was small and clean though a bit noisy from the motorway. The food in the Hungry Horse was great value for money especially the breakfasts.
