We found the DIY breakfast a little challenging and the lack of anywhere to hang clothes in our room meant that everything had to stay in our case.

Clean and comfortable with attentive and helpful staff. A lovely friendly place. Beautifully decorated throughout with high-end appliances.

Nothing comes to mind. We only stayed one night. For their sake, I hope they revisit their expansion plans.

Tucked away on a quiet road between the sea and the forest. Very handy to get to either within 5 mins in the car. Loved the quiet! Ensuite room in hotel standard

    Nothing - I loved everything

Location was stunning with a view of the Mourne Hills one way and beautiful countryside the other. The hosts were fantastic - really welcoming and friendly. The breakfast was superb. The room was spacious and comfortable. The town centre is a two mile walk or 15 minute taxi ride. I would definitely come back!!

Nothing. Fresh, bakery bread for breakfast would have been nice, but that is a very minor point.

Beautifully decorated, very comfortable room. Self-service breakfast worked well, with fresh fruit, yogurt and eggs. Quiet, pretty location, with lovely views, but within easy reach of the coast.

    Nothing to dislike.

This was exceptional accommodation. It was close to the coastal town of Newcastle as well as the nearby hills/mountains. There was a very friendly welcome when we arrived. We were shown around the property. There was seating outside if you wanted to enjoy the garden and mountain views. The room was of very high quality and the bathroom was modern and everything worked. There was ample parking and a good breakfast (although I did not try it).

An iron in the room and a snack vending machine would be things you could introduce to better an already brilliant accommodation!

Friendly welcoming staff Clean room comfortable bed Close proximity to the town and Tollymore Forest Park Upgrade we purchased was really worth it as outside patio area outside room door.

    Nothing ,couldn't fault it

A lovely place to stay for exploring the beautiful Mourne mountains. Far enough out of Newcastle to feel your in the country but near enough for all the facilities you will need. The staff go way beyond what you would expect, can't do enough for you, plenty of choices for continental style breakfast, rooms lovely, our view was the mountains overlooking a field of sheep and lambs, stunning. The grounds are lovely too, highly recommend, would certainly return in the future.

Some minor things in room: no hooks for coats, no luggage rack, only one bedside lamp and table, fiddly blinds, self closing fire door jams on carpet. (On positive: plugs with usb, sleep kits, great power shower.)

Quiet location, lovely surrounds, spacious facilities, welcoming host Mary.

The beds were too hard for me but the size of the room and facilities were great.

We loved the grounds, enjoyed roaming. Enjoyed relaxing in break room and playing cards. The Continental breakfast was very nice. The room was very nice and a good size for 3.

Our room was a little too hot but we later found out that this could have been adjusted if we had asked.

I would highly recommend this beautiful property. Darren was very welcoming. Our room was equipped with everything you would need for a comfortable stay. We choose this property as it allowed dogs so it was great to have our dog stay with us. The honesty bar was a fabulous bonus and the continental breakfast was delicious. Will definitely return.
