Nothing, however it is in a quiet location with no bars/restaurants in walking distance. Only mention as there is a bit of driving if that’s what you are looking for - we personally loved being away from it all.

Lovely cabin, a step up from Glamping for sure. Quiet location and even saw the stars one night and thunderstorms the next roll down the mountain. Very relaxing and had a super nights sleep with superb hosts!

Everything!! We moved here in a hurry, after finding that our original accommodation wasn't suitable (long story!) and managed to find The Cabin available. We were tired and nervous after a very long journey and with a bad experience behind us, but we found that The Cabin was PERFECT! With a cosy bed, a huge telly, a kitchen and a lounge area, there was everything we could possibly need I a small space. Sarah and Christine had thoughtfully put out some milk, fruit and chocolates. Everything was pristine and we loved it. Despite being away from the area we had planned to be in, we found plenty to do. We highly recommend an evening in Seacape, the small ferry to Piel Castle, a day in Whitehaven and the Six Lakes coach tour we booked through Booking.com. The accommodation was perfect, in a small village with a local shop. The train station was around 30 mins walk away where we took a train to Whitehaven (to have a car-free day) and it's a lovely journey. And the best thing, at night.... the silence! The Cabin will be our first port of call next time we return to the Lake District.

The Cabin was spacious, clean and very comfortable. Me and my partner booked last minute and it was delightful! The Cabin has all facilities you need including an air fryer which we didn’t realise until arrival! The hosts provide an abundance of things like milk tea and coffee with utensils, extra pillows, playing cards and a cooling fan. Lovely views of black Combe every morning and a comfy cabin. Amazing, cosy stay with beautiful view and lots of things to do! This little cabin is the perfect get away for anyone who loves nature! Myself and my partner stayed for two nights and we had nothing short of an amazing time, both Sarah and her mother were so friendly and welcoming and answered our many questions throughout the stay! There was also extra pillows, towels, bedding and fresh fruit and little treats in the fruit bowl which was so kind and thoughtful! If you’re worried about there not being much to do please don’t we found so many things to do and Sarah also provides leaflets within the cabin of multiple things to do and see! We were also able to swim in a little gorge with deep pools and a cute little waterfall only 5 minutes down the road! We also went into Windermere where we explored the world of Beatrix potter in addition to swimming and paddle boarding in a gorgeous lake with the most amazing view. We would definitely recommend booking with Sarah for an amazing stay and with so many things to do and see with the gorgeous scenery it’s nothing short of a perfect little getaway!

Choosing to stay here was such a great decision. it is so cosy inside and functional, it’s warm and a quiet location, really peaceful. it was really really clean too and the BBQ was a great touch. it felt like home away from home and we would stay again.

i loved everything there was not even a second where sarah failed us from our car being broken down to doing the extra bits to make our honeymoon special i genuinely cant fault anything it was the best experience i have ever had it felt like family and we will be visiting again this property was 100% perfect i would highly recommend it she made it extra special and extra amazing :)

Nothing, everything was just perfect!

The cabin is cleverly and tastefully equipped with everything that can make your stay comfortable. It is probably the cleanest accommodation we have ever stayed at in Britain. The area is very relaxing and, being very lucky with the weather, we enjoyed peaceful views and beautiful sunsets while barbecuing. The accommodation is conveniently located for exploring both the coast and the southern Lake District. The hosts were nice and helpful and we enjoyed chatting a bit with them. Great communication via text messages before and during the stay.
