We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

United KingdomMy only criticism is that they do not have any rooms that allow dogs. Seems such a shame as the pub and restaurant are all dog friendly. It is just that I would have liked to have been able to take our friends and their dog to stay

United KingdomOnly two small downsides. It would have been even better if there had been a bath. And the breakfast was not quite as special as the supper (weak coffee and overcooked sausage). But I have to think hard about what was not good!
Room (Lords) was fantastic. Dinner, too, was most excellent. And the local lager!

Great location by the sea with easy access to the coastal path. It was lovely not having to use the car. We did two lovely walks, the scenery is stunning. Lovely clean room overlooking the sea. Great food. Friendly staff. Would definitely stay again.

Really tucked away corner of South Devon with a fascinating history...not just the legacy of being a working fishing village for over 2 centuries but this pub was where Keith Richards and Mick Jagger played their first ever gig in public!
