We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

Absolutely stunning location and the most spectacular views . Just breathtaking ! So convenient for the beach and town . Parking very close by . The rooms are beautiful and the beds very comfortable. Pillows are especially good . Plentiful supply of hot drinks to make and biscuits too , as well as bottled water . Graham is a fantastic host . He made us feel so welcome and at home and really made my 91 year old uncle feel very special and accommodating his breakfast request which was not on the menu was a very kind gesture . The breakfast offering was very inviting . There was a great selection of a wide variety of fresh fruit and cereals etc . The full English was of high quality , very tasty and well cooked and the coffee was fantastic! On the second day we had the delicious smoked salmon and perfectly scrambled eggs . All the staff we met were very polite and friendly and seemed genuinely happy to help . We had a very enjoyable stay and hope to visit again.

United KingdomNot the fault of the accommodation, but parking locally can be difficult. There is limited on-street parking outside, but this will fill up quickly in peak times. There is a pay and display at the end of the Esplanade, so if travelling in peak season it would be advisable to budget for this.
Lovely individually decorated and furnished room. The owner was extremely friendly and helpful, giving parking advice and restaurant recommendations. Great choice of breakfast options, including fruit, cereals and extensive hot options - all freshly and excellently cooked.

I was given a room upgrade, which was a lovely suprise. The owner and his wife were both very welcoming. The room was a nice size and bed very comfortable. The breakfast was very good too.

Lovely full breakfast, welcoming owners and the location is just by the Five Arches so there's a long stay car park you can pay for 24 hours at a time just 100m away and you're super close to town. Comfy beds, windows open so you can get a breeze. Highly recommend

Lovely hotel right on the seafront, the staff were super friendly and helpful nothing was too much trouble for them.. It was my first time travelling solo with my small dog and i was given a room on the top floor with stunning views out to sea and It was so quiet and peaceful and I will definitely be returning again.. I also felt very safe and secure there being on my own..

Excellent value for money. Breakfast was delicious. As an employee of Brecon Carreg, extremely impressed to see a complimentary bottle in the room. . The owner took his time at breakfast to come round asking if everything was/had been OK which was such a lovely touch and going over and above! Location was fab, parking only 2 minutes away too. 100% will stay again.
