There is limited restaurant and store nearby. Breakfast time is between 7:30-8:30 in the morning and would like a little later.

Nothing in particular. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Wished stayed a bit longer. If I have to point a minus, the wash basin is a bit smaller :D

Host Margaret is great. We were getting a bit late for our booked tour activity in the breakfast table, and she dropped us in the town. So gentle and welcoming woman. The property is maintained exceptionally well. Good breakfast with fantastic view of Old man of Storr. Note: For people using public transport, Portree is 22 mins walk filled with nice views. For arriving, there is a bus stop named Isle of Skye Candles visitor center (stop before Portree square). That stop is mere 5-6 mins walk from the property.

The only problem with our stay was trying to find dinner. Skye has become very busy and it’s nearly impossible to find dinner without a prior reservation.

It was a lovely quite spot,beautiful view over the water and had good car parking. Breakfast was lovely, all that we needed. Our room was very comfortable .

Breakfast was ample. However, there was no option for a cooked breakfast.

Location was superb. View was excellent. Host was friendly and helpful. Room was clean, roomy and comfortable. Bed was large and very comfortable.

Nothing, we love everything. Only the midges annoy us and everyone but that is not property related problem

The view from our room was spectacular Magaret was a fabulous host, because we had the room with a very nice view and she also priortise guests with good view in the breakfast room which showed a high level of professionalism. The room is very clean, the housekeeper cleaned it every day. Everything was so good, there is also Netflix on tv.

Nothing - in an ideal world a cooked breakfast would have been nice but I knew that was not on offer. The continental breakfast which is available is excellent and exceeded my expectations!

Great location overlooking the bay in Portree. Had a nightmare of a journey to get there - petrol issues but phoned ahead to let proprietor know I'd be late and she was great. Fabulous room - lovely and clean. Lots of plugs, nice linen and very comfy bed. Lovely breakfast - continental as advertised but lots of choice on everything from cereals to toast ;-) All fresh and well presented. Nice big dining room. Lovely pot of tea and water to top up too! All served by the very friendly host Margaret. Was even advised to do the north of the island - which I did and sooooo glad I listened. Fantastic place to say, very honest owner with well run, clean and comfortable accommodation. Just wished I'd arrived earlier and could have enjoyed it for longer.

The host was very nice. We ignored our kid by mistake when we booked the room. The host welcomed us finally. We really appreciated it and say sorry to her and the other guests. The room was very clean and quiet. The breakfast was delicious. The yard was very beautiful. I am happy to recommend it to anyone who wants to travel in isle of skye.

Wish is was a little closer to downtown Portree, but we walked back from having dinner on the sidewalk that paralleled the road.

The breakfast both mornings was fantastic. The room was clean and quiet with a beautiful view of the bay. Margaret was an accommodating hostess.

Beautiful house overlooking Portree, it a 3 minute drive into the centre, but could walk there easily, it was spotlessly clean, lovely warm room, comfortable bed, facilities good, and fabulous breakfast. We had a lovely welcome from Margaret on arrival and were made to feel very at home. Margaret is a wonderful host and a lovely lady. We would highly recommend a stay at this fabulous property

Perfect location facing Portree. Gardens were well kept and could sit outside. Wide selection of choice for breakfast. The owner Margaret was very helpful. Room was spotlessly clean. Definately recommended.

Margaret is a super host. Friendly and warm. It feels like home away from home. Remind me of my nan n my mom so much. Room was spick and span,spacious. Beds were comfortable. Breakfast was amazing. Booking.com didn’t handle the payment, and Margaret couldn’t take a credit card. So, we had to go into town and find a cash machine to get cash which delayed our departure.

Our room was spotless and really well furnished with a great view of Portree. The host was very friendly and made very good breakfast. B&B is about 20 minute walk to centre of Portree which is nice little town with great restaurants.

One of the best stays I had in the last 3 years. The location is mesmerising and the host is the most friendly person you will ever find. The rooms were very nice, facilities and breakfast everything was great. Thanks to our great host :)
