Wifi signal not too strong. Colored towels and mats in the bathroom (better white). TV connected only by wifi. I have asked if it was possibile to set a small desk and a chair in the room to work but I didn't receive any reply by the manager.

Quite location near many restaurants and supermarkets. Close to the Forest Gate Station. Single room wide and quiet.

Fit perfectly for my round-about travels.

I had a night between arriving at LHR and a connection the next morning to Spain. Perfect location, easy bus ride into STD for my flight. Situated in the center of town, right across from the Mall and Tesco.

We rung the hotel to ask about parking and the lady was lovely and helped us with the best place to park. We rung the hotel again when we had parked and the same lady came down to great us and show us to our room, very nice lady. The room was bigger than we expected and clean with comfy beds. Would stay again.

The hotel is close to a pub as well as a road junction, so very noisy. I could not rest properly. Also other guests were noisy after midnight or early in the morning, so my sleep was heavily disturbed. No parking, there is a car park nearby but you have to pay between 7:30am-8.00pm.

Smelt slightly funky on arrival, but I got used to it quickly enough. No one working at the front desk - you have to call them which caused a bit of trouble for me as I don’t have a SIM card when traveling. Also incredibly low ceilings and door ways. I managed to knock my head many times and I’m 158cm. Not sure how any normal height person functions in this place.

Comfortable and clean. Great value for money considering close proximity to airport. Close to buses and railways. Perfect to stay at for an early morning flight.

Location. Lots of traffic and urban noise, but I'm not used to it so I noticed it. If you live in an urban area it won't be a problem. It's an old building with creaky floors and thin walls. So I heard people moving around early in the morning and an adjoining room alarm and TV at 5am is not the start to a day I hoped for. What probably used to be the pub below is now a restaurant so there are no onsite facilities, but everything you might need is nearby.

Location, right in the town centre and only a few minutes taxi ride from Stansted airport. Comfortable bed and small but clean room Basic accommodation at a basic price.

Nothing I didn’t like, it is basic, but what would you expect for the price?

Was a good basic hotel close to Stansted. Facilities were clean. We arrived quite late and that was no problem as I let them know by email. It was a pleasant stay. Staff were friendly. The room had en-suite bathroom, coffee making facilities, comfy bed and extra sockets for charging laptop etc. all I needed for one nights stay for a early flight. There is no check in desk, you have to ring on arrival, and that was slightly disorienting after a long journey…but I expect that keeps the price down and it all worked well after a short wait for someone to come down to check us in. There is no hotel parking, but we used on-street parking. There is no bar or restaurant but there are plenty of eating places around this town centre hotel.

It is a really old period hotel. Friendly staff and great location right in the centre of Bishops Stortford.

Noisy at night and it was a hot night so we wanted to have the windows open but they had kindly left a large fan in the room.

Room was very comfy and clean was very bright in morning so i was awake much earlier than I would have liked. Location was spot on! Great town full of pubs and restaurants

Woodwork in bedroom badly needs cleaning/repainting. There was no wardrobe, could at least have coat hooks in the room. Outside of the Hotel looks like a disused building. 4 bulbs in ceiling light not working plus 1 wall light not working either, did not see any staff at all.
