I had problems with the unlit walk in cupboard, searching for clothes in the dark is a bit difficult. Also I don't think that the under sheet was big enough, I woke up in the night with both the sheet and mattress cover rucked up in the middle of the bed, something I haven't experienced before.

Staff welcome and breakfasts. Also we arrived later than expected and we were still able to have a cooked meal.

    The Harnser was just perfect!

Everything was perfect! The Harnser is handily placed for all the amenities of Stalham as well as being close to Potter Heigham and Sea Palling.

The Harnser is a lovely welcoming, local pub. The staff were all extremely helpful, polite and friendly. With a good range of beers, comfortable seating and the spectacle of a Darts Night we could have spent all evening there. However, after a day's cycling we were happy to retire to our very well appointed room. The rooms are accessed off the courtyard which was ideal for securely parking our bikes. We had dinner there the two nights we stayed and can highly recommend the Fish night! Breakfast was everything you want from a full english! Perfectly cooked and well presented with a good sized pot of coffee.

There was nothing to dislike about it.

The bed was so comfortable we had the best nights sleep in years. The room was decorated beautiful. Outside is a small courtyard where we sat and spoke to the people in the next room. We had a beautiful breakfast that was like a feast. The owners and staff were so friendly and aimed to please us.

    I cannot fault the establishment.

The breakfast was excellent, could not fault it. The rooms are small but cater for all your needs. The beds were really comfortable and we had a good night's sleep. The little courtyard outside the room allows for socializing with friends with a pint from the bar. Good value and we would return for sure. The hosts were really friendly but let you get on with your meal .

    Nothing

This B&B pub is a hidden gem, close to all amenities' and places of interest to visit. Excellent choice of hot food on the breakfast menu, dinner in the evenings was good value particularly Sunday lunch which is served until 6pm in the evening. Staff were very friendly and the room clean with everything you would need including fluffy towels changed daily. Joselyn the owner very approachable and accommodated all my dietary needs, thoughtful and much appreciated.

Of course the rooms could have been bigger but they were not so we compromised a little and still enjoyed our stay.

Breakfast, lunch and dinner were superb, the menu's were well thought out and of course the cook is so important . The Harmser has an experienced talented cook. The restaurant has a friendly homely atmosphere and we were made to feel welcome.

Excellent for a stopover, as both the food and friendliness of all made up for any shortfalls.

Room a little on the small side, though contented as very reasonably priced and ours was just a touring stop-over. Also, we thought we would be able to use the normal licensing times, but this was not the case as the bar closed in the afternoons* and there was little else available without driving. (* understandable when explained but need to be informed before booking really).

Quirky little room with everything needed for a quick visit. Really friendly landlady/host together with lovely food, provided by her grandson. Altogether an excellent team. Setting picturesque, bar and dining room warm and welcoming. Really enjoyed our (short) stay whilst touring Norfolk.

A pleasant stay in a converted stable block, only 3 rooms total so quite private.
    • Leisure trip
    • Couple
    • Standard Twin Room
    • Stayed 2 nights

You had to choose your breakfast time the day before, so if you were sleeping you needed to ensure you were up and ready to go. The tables seemed to be a bit sticky but this may have been cleaning products used. The courtyard is used by all 3 rooms so if someone is smoking outside the smell will enter into your room if the door/window is open.

The breakfast was very generous, all great quality produce was used and cooked was made to order. The portions were rather large but you could ask for smaller/small changes and the staff tried to support as needed. There were various vegetarian options available. Room was serviced every day with fresh milk etc. provided.

The decor on the outside of our room kept banging on the door due to the wind from 3am. These look lovely and would suggest securing more or removing
