How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

The Bathroom very very very tiny. It is a courtesy bathroom not a proper bathroom.
The location and the idea of the little appartment in the heart of London. Very close to Hyde Park.

The flat is quite large and very comfortable. Staff were super friendly. The lift broke during my staff but they did there best to address the situation. Would definitely stay here again.

Bathroom could be a bit more spacious if the bathtub is replaced by a shower cabin, so the washbasin and the toilet could be a bit bigger. Soundproofing would be highly appreciated - a bit noisy corridor specially during early morning hours.
Excellent location - 1 minute walk from the underground, 10 minute walk to Kensington Gardens and Natural History Museum, close to super market and pubs/restaurants. Very clean and spacious apartment, fully equipped kitchen, elevator, heating, thankfully without carpeted floors (vary rare for English hotel). Very good wi-fi. Everyday room cleaning service. Very polite and helpful staff. Value for money.

Staff at all levels and functions couldn't be more helpful, friendly, patient and efficient. Very clean and well kept premises. Well organised and monitored housekeeping. Anything that needs attention is sorted out quickly.

Struggling to think about negative points. Space at the bottom of the bed is tight, so limboing out in the dark to get some water (and getting back to bed) was tricky.
Apartment is very close to the underground. The staff were very welcoming, and someone was in reception whenever we went in and out. Lots of space in our apartment. It was lovely and warm (in contarast to the weather outside). Lots of interesting places to have breakfast, or buy food nearby.

The reception is manned almost all day(except overnight) and it’s so easy to speak to someone if there’s any issue that needs to be resolved. Very friendly staff too

Apartment was fairly bland . A lick of paint and a little bit of decor wouldn't go astray

No problems with this visit.
Location was excellent - within 1 minute of a tube station and same to walk to 2 excellent pubs who both provided good quality, inexpensive food. The apartment was ideal, with plenty of space and all the required facilities. Staff were very welcoming.

The location was amazing, the room was clean and everything worked properly. We appreciated the facilities in the kitchen as we travel with a one year old baby. The staff was very professional, polite, caring and helpful. Special thanks to Rufino and Lazarina. We will be back for sure on the future!

Love how friendly and supportive the staff was! Especially Alex! He’s very supportive and very friendly! The location is very near to Gloucester Road train station. Super close. The room is very okay, with microwave and small kitchen. We would like to stay again in Harrington if we go again to London! Say our regards to Alex!

A big thank you for all the staff. They were very helpful and friendly. The apartment was more than enough for two persons, very clean and with a well equipped kitchen. And the location is excellent, just 2-3 minutes away from un underground station with Piccadilly and District/Circle lines.
