It would have been nice to have a little welcome pack with fresh milk (not mini pots) and new teabags. There were pots in the dishwasher when we arrived.

This property was like my dream house. If I lived in Harrogate, this is exactly the style of house and the location I would choose. Everything was accessible by foot….shops, supermarket, theatre, gardens, walks, baths, restaurants. Parking was easy. We could have happily spent a week at this property in Harrogate and will return. Communication was excellent. Beds were extremely comfortable. The house was furnished beautifully and was extremely clean. Even the diffuser scent was delightful!

Small amount of confusion over parking permits but it was quickly resolved.

Nothing to dislike my only points would be to watch younger children with the step in the bathroom and to plane the bottom of the main bedroom door as it was quite stiff.

It’s a stunning place to stay. Beautifully styled, cosy and comfortable. Communication was great, easy to check in with parking permits easily available. The beds were very comfortable and you couldn’t hear the road at all. Everything was clean, all the facilities listed were available and in working order. We all really enjoyed our stay and will happily return again.

Issues with heating when first arrived but we resolved that and host offered late checkout as compensation which was a very nice gesture. Rug in lounge had some crumbs on it as did the floor in the lounge and kitchen. Dining room chairs also had a few little crumbs on. Some cobwebs in kitchen and bathroom.

Tea, coffee milk provided. Cleaning materials provided. High standard of decor and kitchen fully equipped nice serving dishes etc.

Unfortunately due to storms there was a leak from the roof which we reported immediately. The contact attended the property very promtly to assess and deal with the matter. We did have a couple of issues with kitchen cleanliness which again were reported so this could be addressed with house keeping staff. Thankfully there were cleaning products under the sink, not everywhere provides them.

Beautiful house, tastefully decorated, modernised but keeping the period features and in an excellent location for amenities, although you do hear alot of traffic noise from the main road. The digital door lock to access the property instead of keys is something I haven't used before and it was a little tricky, it always took several attempts, although this would not deter me from returning. The nespresso machine and selection of pods was a welcome touch, thoroughly enjoyed a frothy coffee each morning. The master bed was so so comfy, with lovely feather pilows and duvet, a nice touch, so much better than the synthetic fibre ones.
