This old, yet nicely updated Inn is in a lovely waterside location with beautiful mountain views. The staff were incredibly accommodating to a medical emergency I had before arrival that once resolved, required a very late check in. Service at a full Scottish to made to order breakfast was lovely.

The location is not the best for travellers without a car, it’s advised to avoid Sundays as there’s no bus.

Perfect location and great staff, everything was amazing and the feeling create for us the perfect atmosphere for our holiday. Very good restourant and nice pub to drink a beer or a superbe whisky.

The rooms were massive and well furnished. Very large bed and extremely comfortable. The views from our room were great to wake up to. The breakfast was excellent and varied. And dinner was of a standard you would find in a top restaurant. The staff couldn't do enough for us ,we would definitely stay there again.

The staff was very friendly and worked very hard, since they were taking care of the front desk as well as the restaurant. We had an excellent dinner in the restaurant, and breakfast was equally as good. The room was spacious and clean, and we had an excellent view.

Communication the 1st night.

Everyone was very helpful, there was a misstep on the 1st night but was corrected in a top nock manner. Geraldine is a super star as well as most of the staff ( except that 1, lol) would highly recommend and would stay again.

Found a random pill on the floor of our room right before the baby put it in his mouth, so maybe better cleaning would help.

I wish a full breakfast could have started earlier, taking into consideration the early ferry that several guests took. However, they did have a continental breakfast or sandwiches to take early morn8 g.

The property was well located, beautiful view of the Sound of Sleat and 3 minutes from the ferry crossing to Mallaig. The bedroom was spacious, very clean, queen size bed with good mattress, and the bathroom was immaculate and large. While a full breakfast was included, we had to leave early for the 8:15 am ferry, but there was a continental breakfast available or a choice of having sandwiches made. This was a very nice touch! There is a full bar and restaurant serving lunch and dinner. The menu was varied and the food very good.

Carpet in need of a deep cleaning

The hotel is charming and quaint. Staff very nice and cheerful. Our room was large and well decorated in a Scottish decor. Very well located to take the ferry to Mallaig as it is 5 minute drive
