Want aware of scaffolding

Scaffolding which I knew about when booking but workmen started moving scaffolding/equipment at 7am on the Friday which made a horrendous noise so no lie in for us :( Accommodation and public spaces were a little tatty here and there.

Location was excellent town was literally on your doorstep and bus services Cheap food and drink next door ;)

Exterior of the building was being cleaned or renovated so there was much scaffolding around the building.

Location is very close to the city center and Avon River. Easy walking distance to the Cathedral. About a 20 minute walk from the airport. Rooms were very clean.

It could have been explained a little more slowly the two different ways to enter and exit.

Lovely room. Immaculately clean. Comfortable bed. Superb location. Excellent, affordable price. Good interaction with staff. Very good breakfast. I could use cash in bar and to buy my breakfast.

I had asked for a quiet room and my room was at the back of the hotel . Unfortunately there was a rather loud kitchen fan outside which could be heard in the room. Although it stopped later in the evening , it started up again early the next morning. Last time I had a room at the front which was actually quieter! The hotel is currently having some outside work done and is covered in scaffolding which didn’t detract from my stay but I was treated to a workman outside my window the next morning . Fortunately not too early but some warning would have been helpful.

I’ve stayed here once before so I knew what to expect, clean spacious room and easy check in and access around and in and out of the building. Overall the hotel is very good value for money, it is in a great location, has well trained friendly staff and the rooms are excellent, spacious, clean and comfortable . Credit to the staff member who was at reception for check in. She remained professional, helpful and friendly throughout despite the large queue of people and their many requests. I didn’t have breakfast at the hotel.

Heating system not working. It was the same the last time we stayed at the same hotel. We were given a heater overnight though as it was so cold. Room although the bed linen was clean the room was very very dusty around the edges of the floor and under the bedside tables. The bathroom was clean and the towels clean and soft and replaced daily when left on the floor as requested... but there is no grab rail in the bath/ shower area which is dangerous and a potential reason for a very bad fall.

Suggested a blind at the window in room 215 as streetlight right outside. They noted my suggestion.

Right in centre of town but not noisy, very comfortable.Wetherspoons attached so easy to eat and really helpful & happy staff.

The hotel being in an old building is labyrinthine. The room while well-appointed felt enclosed, due to having to walk through a series of corridors all alike towards it.

This is a comfortable hotel with well appointed rooms and being situated above (or around) a pub, the facilities for food and drink are good. It is also very central which is good. Walk from the station felt safe and straightforward. The staff - at least the one who I had 90% of dealings with - were approachable and competent.

The food at breakfast was excellent, however it was served on really cold plates with obvious consequences.

The city centre location is excellent, easily walkable around town.

Building currently undergoing some works so covered in scaffolding obscuring some window views (we were notified of this prior to arrival) also there are some fans on the roof which are constantly on which you can hear (didn't keep us awake but you could always hear them)

Nice comfortable accommodation at a reasonable price, ideal location minutes walk into the centre of Salisbury and Cathederal
