Great location, friendly staff. I was lucky to have great weather whilst staying. The view from the upper lounge was great. Local to shops and museums. I really enjoyed the stay.

Evening imbar man was slightly off hand

Excellent breakfast, comfortable large room, independent of the pub if you wanted. We had a few drinks in the pub but were out and about so much we ate out. You could though easily eat in the pub if you so wished. Standard of breakfast food excellent.

The bed could have been a bit bigger and the bathroom was tired (stain in the toilet and a crack in the glazing in the sink, for example) But it was all clean, warm and comfortable!

The breakfasts were very good! Exceptional for the money!

I was happy with all my stay so not applicable.

I have stayed at the Longboat several times at this time of year and always enjoyed being there. A great team running this place. Nice rooms and nice breakfasts. Superbly located for Penzance railway station, bus station and Penzance itself. Appreciate the low key approach to New Year’s Eve. Could not recommend the Longboat more highly for an enjoyable stay in West Cornwall, with such an excellent location to explore much that this area has to offer.

The Longboat is a classic British hotel/pub, with a friendly staff, wood paneled bar and comfortable rooms. The breakfast options were terrific, order anything on the menu and they can do a good espresso. Conveniently located across from the train and bus station.

Mild around the bath, toilet brown stained, not enough washing products offered, it's basically cheap and cheerful

It is a great location. The food and mocktails are delightful if you don't drunk like myself. However I wouldn't stay here again, it misses the hotel feel. Feels more like a bed and breakfast

Just the noise outside. There was two layers of window but the outer window was open, and I couldn't work out how to close it. If I could have shut that window it would if been a lot quiter. Shower could of been a bit more powerful.

The room was lovely. Bed really comfy. Breakfast fantastic and the staff lovely too. Loved the unusual touch of the local town names for each room. The size of the shower was vast and the eco friendly toiletries a nice touch too. Fabulous black out curtain in the room. Location was perfect. Right next to the train station and town centre.

    Can't fault it

It was a pleasure to stay there. Felt at home and welcome from the start. The staff are all delightful. The food is great value for money ( especially for someone over 55 with a smaller appetite who appreciates their Golden Years option!). It is also well cooked and delicious.. The Sunday roast had that truly home cooked feeling. The room was comfortable and I slept like a log all 3 nights. It is conveniently close to the station and to the lively part of town. What's not to like?

No bar fridge in room. Most of the “vegan” offerings on the restaurant downstairs were either not actually vegan or not available. Shower controls were unfamiliar and difficult to work out.

Easy check in, convenient location, comfortable room. Very clean.

The weather - nothing to do with the hotel.

Friendly, helpful and efficient staff; centrally located pub/hotel near station but also close to car parks; room clean and of a good size with fair sized en-suite. Breakfast (optional) was excellent and my partner and I dined in one evening -food impressive and a very decent menu. All in all a thoroughly pleasant experience.
