Couldn't get BBC1 (to watch Strictly!!) I had not realised how far it was to walk to the town centre and pier, and being used to great public transport in London would have liked to have information on bus services.

Travelling as a lone female I felt completely secure even though there were no intrusive security measures evident. I was also able to come and go as needed (I was manning an exhibition with early starts and a rather weird timetable.)

We were in Eastbourne for the Beachy Head 10k and the location is 45 mins walk from the start! Our fault we didn't check the distance

Friendly staff, it has been easy to communicate with them. Delicious breakfast, comfortable bedroom, 15 mins walk from the Pier.

We got to the B&B a little early , but were greeted warmly and given our room keys. We had seen some indifferent reviews, but everything was really good. We stayed in a King room with the balcony and it was very spacious and very clean with lovely views. The breakfast was also very good with good choices and served with a smile 😃

A little noisy but that is to be expected. It was a bit tight in the bathroom and you had to be careful when opening the bathroom door that you did not hit the bedstead

Breakfast was a little disjointed, but the food was good. Maybe new inexperienced staff finding their feet. Why brown sauce on all tables but had to ask for tomato sauce. Felt sorry for the young lad doing everything front of house could do with 2 for a smoother service. I'm sure this will improve in time. Just a small issue as we did not mind waiting. Parking can be an issue if you can't park at the property.

The location and view was amazing, the room was spacious and very clean, despite being next to a busy road, it was quiet and didn't have any trouble falling asleep. They were very friendly and accommodated my request of decorating the room and early check in. We will definitely be visiting again!!!

The breakfast!!!! I think that it lets the place down. We are not great fan of full english and the choice was not really good. The buffet was very basic and the portions of served food quite small! The service was not great!!! Tables weren't cleaned quickly enough and we had to do it, then dress our own table. Shame because everything else was great!

The room was immaculate, the bathroom bright and very well organised. The shower cabinet was nice and the bathroom spacious and very clean. The rrom was a little bit small but that wasnt really an issue. The cleanliness of the place was second to none. The dining room was bright and nicely decorated. The staff was pleasant and accommodating.

Only a couple of 'could do betters' The staff we saw were two young-ish guys, who didn't really chat. Just asked name of booking when we got there and gave us the key, not particularly friendly. The breakfast, tasted great but one sausage, one bacon, tablespoon of chopped mushrooms, one has brown and a tablespoon of baked beans were a little lost on a large dinner plate. Smaller plate or of course, two of everything, would have helped.

Great location, right opposite the sea front. Parking at the rear of the property. Easy reach of pier either walking or driving. Room was very clean and reasonable size. Decent shower. There was small table top fridge in the room which considering the heat was a god send!! Definitely recommend them.

The shower pressure was really low and it took ages for any hot water to come through. Would be good if you gave information on how to contact you during your stay.
