Arriving on a saturday meant that there are no breakfast arrangements at the hotel. New Brighton seems to be shut early week and bank holidays so breakfasts had to be hunted down. Would be handy if the hotel could provide some info about local breakfasts and days of the week.

Shower head was attached by cable ties and there was a hole in the wall behind the TV.

Excellent location for the High Street and the beach. Car park right next to the hotel which was free. Free Wi-Fi and bottles of water in the room. Bed was comfy and room was spacious. Staff were very friendly and we received 10% off food bill, as we were hotel guests.

My room was amazing this time. Large room. Large bed. Big window that let a lot of light in. Cosy armchair. It's definitely the best room out of the 3 I've stayed in. Food was amazing.

The biggest problem was that the room did NOT have a safe. So I was obliged to carry all of my valuables around with me. The second biggest problem was that you accessed the room by an old-fashioned key rather than a card. Given that the rooms sat on top of a pub with a lot of people coming and going this was a real problem. The last thing was that the mirror in the bathroom was too small and hung too high to be of any use to me. I am 5 ft 5 so not short, but it was obviously hung up by a 6 foot man.

I loved my room which was large and had a good view of the street. It was large enough for 2 adults and 2 children so I had plenty of room to spread out. Also liked that it came with a small but well-designed ensuite.

The only thing I didn't like is I couldn't take the pillows home with me ! We slept so well.

The room was brilliant! Homely spacious clean and had everything you need an more . The staff were absolutely fantastic . Friendly and very helpful. We highly recommend The food and will definitely come back to stay again . Fantastic value for money.

Sadly no breakfast but then a good excuse to visit the area but there was honestly nothing to dislike :)

The location is great - 2-3 mins up from the sea front in the Victorian quarter. The hotel is a pub and think in the summer will be livley We were welcomed and excorted to a large room fully stocked with bathroom toiletries, big towels, a fan or radiator for temp control and the plenty of tea. coffee and milks. Guests enjoy 10% off pub food and recommend the chicken fajita chips - yum And free parking to side of hotel in local carparks New Brighton beach and sea front is great in all weathers from the stromy waves crashing against the sea defences to the sand beaches or watching the boats entering the Mersey - its fab Check out Social 114 for breakfast, and Marino Lounge for good food and atmosphere too

We had Sunday lunch which was lovely we were then watching the football natch (liverpool) it got to half time. a group came in sat by us and asked for the sound to be turned down which it was even though we were watching it and we were there first there were plenty of other tables they could of sat at was really annoyed

A lovely period building. Bar and restaurant well located. Easy entry and exit to the hotel which was great after hours.

The staff are absolutely great. The location was brilliant and the food and wine was way above average.

The room was dated but was very clean. Also if you don't like loud music this hotel is not for you as you can hear the acts from downstairs.

The staff were very friendly and welcoming and the bar was really well stocked and very clean.

Staff were extremely helpful and polite. The room was spacious and very clean. Food at the bar was delicious. I was unaware of the live music when booking, but it stopped promptly at 11pm and bar itself closed at 12pm as advertised. This didn't bother us as we're awake till then anyway. After bar closed the area was nice and quiet and we both got a good nights sleep, which is all we were after

Clean, comfortable, and spacious room. Very nice bed and plenty of amenities. Kind, friendly, and helpful staff. Lots of bars, shops, and places to eat on your doorstep and close to the shore. Short walk from the New Brighton station to take you into the city centre. Great place to stay and a great town. Would love to return for a longer stay.

Expect it to be jumpin’ at the weekend.

Staff were really friendly, the room was a great size and clean and comfortable. Having our dog was no problem and didn’t cost extra! We were a few minutes walk from a coastal walk - wonderful sunset. Live music stopped at 10 and all quiet by eleven in our hotel but other bars kept going. This is a lively place but they tell you this on the website! We loved the “good night out” vibe.

Minor point, the dressing table was too small and in the darkest corner of the room (no. 7). Perhaps swap it with the wardrobe?

Friendly staff, good facilities. Particularly pleased that the runner on the bed was actually a throw, actually useful!

To be honest we loved everything food was amazing Wednesday roast was fantastic, staff couldn't do for us ,rooms very clean and spacious we are definitely going back next year one of the best hotels we have stayed in we would like to thank everyone at the New Brighton Hotel for making our 5 nights so amazing xxxxxx
