Clean comfortable accommodation. Everything was provided. Quiet street with shops close by for anything you needed. Beautiful area to stay for a holiday.

Depending on the upstairs neighbours, it can be noisy. But it was fine after 10/11pm. The sofa bed is a typical sofa bed, and is firm which is down to personal preference.

Amazing location, lovely place with excellent facilties and fantastic shower. It was cosy, well decorated, and kitted out with everything we needed.

The heating was on for our arrival & made the cottage very cosy & welcoming. We found it very well equipped. Great communication from Chris (host) to let us know everything was ready for our arrival. Location was really good for local amenities & walks to the beach. We visited Lossiemouth, Elgin & Portsoy which were close by.

Great location, Chris was so prompt with messaging and even let us check in early on boxing day! Property was clean, tidy, well laid out and our little family loved it. We will be booking again next time we come up to visit family!

The toilet being straight off the kitchen was off-putting. The bedroom was very small, and having to negotiate steps to and from toilet in the middle of the night was not to our liking. The bathroom towels were very shabby, should be replaced.

It was very comfortable. The living area was spacious, close to all local amenities.

Very pretty cottage, well presented with a great lounge and well equipped kitchen to relax in after a day touring this stunningly beautiful unspoiled village. This part of the world doesn’t have much night life so the kitchen, spacious lounge, tv and comfy sofa was a great way to end the day. The shower was small, that’s unfair, perhaps twee or quirky as it was immaculate and well equipped, and the soft highland water and good water pressure was sublime. This is a very old building I guess around early 1800s but the conversion has been well thought out and done to a very high standard while being respectful to the original building. There is a great fish and chip shop and a nice ice cream place on the Main Street but most shops apart from the close early in Cullen Added bonus was the co op shop (small supermarket) at the end of the street stocked with nice local produce,, if you want to put that kitchen to use. Did I mention that it also has a fgood selection of beers, wines and spirits :) Chris the owner was a pleasure to deal with. Recommended

Stay wasn't long enough and wish we had booked for longer.

The place was spotless and furnished to a high quality. Very central location in Cullen with everything pretty much on the doorstep. Chris was very responsive to any queries we had. Had an amazing time and have booked again for next year. Couldn't fault it!

With it being ground level and a flat above we could hear people walking,etc above and our dog barked each time.

Very nice and clean comfortable just as we expected ,hotel restaurant &takeaways bottom of street pub next door,only downside for us was two small step to both kitchen & bedroom as my wife as waliking difficulties but manageable, overall excellent.

The wifi appears to be shared with an upstairs property and the signal is not available in the rear half of the property which wouldn't have been a problem except that there is no mobile signal in Cullen. It was easily remedied by getting the wifi password for the hotel bar next door as this had a stronger signal. Bit of a shame there is no outside space for the drying of beach towels, but thats understandable.

A lovely place to stay - quiet, clean, cosy and ideally situated for the many great places to eat in Cullen and a short roll down the hill to that all-important beach. We really enjoyed our stay and will definitely return this year

The position of bed in bedroom, challenging due to ceiling slope and position of lights and switches. Bathroom needs new toilet brush and more effective ventilation.

I personally had trouble sleeping due to noise overhead but you expect that in an apartment. bathroom tap has a drip too - just to feedback to help make you aware. wasn’t expecting to make the pull out bed up given we booked for a family but didn’t take too long.

the property was well situated and well presented. great communication and helpful owners. Easy to access the property with the lock box.
