Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

IrelandThe room was functional, very compact, but with little ability to move around on one side of the bed. Mattress was soft. Toiletries were NOT provided as stated on the booking website - only hand soap was! Luckily, we had someone nearby to provide us with shampoo and shower gel, so we didn't have to buy. We would recommend short-term stays (1/2 nights) only
The location was very suitable for our purpose. It was very clean.

United KingdomBedding/pillows - as another reviewer has pointed out previously, these do need renewing. The overhead aircraft noise was a surprise although it didnt phase us as we were only there for one night.
The shower was fantastic, powerful and hot water! Decoratively pleasing room, well equipped and very cosy with some lovely touches to make us feel at home.

United KingdomThe Old Farmhouse is perfectly located close to Bristol Airport: less than 10 minutes away by car. Winford is a nice little village with a pub and little stream running through the centre of the village, although the High Street can get quite busy at times as a through road. The room was small but very well laid out to maximise space. The staff were very responsive and friendly in helping us recover a coat that we had accidentally left behind during our stay. We would definitely stay again if in the area.

United StatesAbsolutely no sign to mark it. I arrived after dark, couldn't find it even though they had given good landmarks. Not lit at all. I ended up parking and walking from house to house along the road till I arrived at a place that "lit up" as I walked into the driveway. Teeny tiny little sign finally confirmed it was indeed the place.
The room was small but beautifully decorated. The bed was wonderful--very comfortable. The bottle of water and tea things were a nice touch.

The farmhouse exceeded my expectations because there had been a few really negative reviews. It was clean, modern, good location, hot shower and comfy bed. Booked two rooms, one had its own little kitchenette. It’s great for the airport so came prepared with ear plugs but wasn’t disturbed. Had dinner at the Waterloo opposite so all good.

SpainIt was cold. I turned on the heating but as I had arrived late at night the room didn’t have much of a chance to heat up. I went straight to bed with a pillow over my head because I was too cold. I think it was probably an oversight.
Clean and lovely room with some nice touches. I especially liked the chalked message to take your shoes off and make yourself at home. It felt welcoming.

United KingdomI think it was billed as business travel location but no suitable desk to sit at with laptop. The bench with the tea making stuff was too narrow. There is the space to create a nice work station for business travellers. The shower was little more than warm at max temp so worth looking at. A pair of coat hooks on the back of the door would be a good addition.

United KingdomWe found a couple of pubic hair on double bed upstairs and as the bed sheets were pretty thin we thought it was slept in. We messaged and called the host for new set of linen but she reassured the linens were fresh. What upset us most is the content in instructions folder where it stipulated no Chinese or Indian foods to be consumed in the flat in case of accidental spillages. So my question is Italian and English foods spillages is fine? Being Chinese we just find this offensive and discriminatory. Of course we will never be back.
Cosy little flat next to main road, yet it was quiet and serviceable.

The contact prior to my stay, on arrival my sister was unaware of entry details but the owners were on hand via an intercom. The information booklet was informative and we were able to book a recommended reasonably priced taxi transfer to Bristol Airport.
