Nothing I didn’t like about the property, just a couple of things which would’ve made it perfect - a pint of milk in the fridge so I could make a cuppa on arrival and some shampoo / shower gel 😀

Everything was outstanding

Great location, our host Paul was excellent. The cottage itself was spacious, very clean, well maintained and all fixtures, fittings are of a high standard. The shower was superb and an extremely comfortable large bed. I can't really say much more apart from I would highly recommend booking here.

It was very hot but that wasn't a fault with the property, a bed side table would have been useful

This is a really nice cottage, well equipped in a quiet location. When we stayed it was very hot and the fan was most welcome as was the fact Paul had removed the duvet and just left the cover. ( he advised we could have it back if needed).

The price but then again I am Yorkshire Born n’ Bred!😂 It was a treat though so worth taking the plunge. Just one thing, there is a boiler in the bedroom area which was a bit annoying during the night when it decided to fire up for whatever reason.The cottage has 2 boilers, couldn’t work out why unless one was for adjacent cottage. And black out curtains or at least a blind in the bedroom would be great for summer stays when day length is so long.

We were attending the Silverstone Grand Prix and the cottage is in an excellent location for access (bit loathe to tell anyone that in case we decide to go again!). There are also lovely walks through the local fields and woods. The conversion has been well thought out and has everything you need for a staycation. Parking is safely off road. There is an outdoor seating area and we were blessed with good weather so used it everyday. Although no shops within walking distance as far as aware, Brackley and especially Sainsburys, is not far away. Besides Silverstone we did not venture very far so cannot comment on general area and other attractions. The neighbours (and dogs) on site made us feel very welcome

There was no soap for the shower A coffee machine would be nice The oven was not clean and had not been cleaned for quite some time. However, when advised, the host did offer to clean promptly

We really enjoyed our stay at Buttercup Cottage. It was especially dog-friendly with a fantastic field-sized play area with woods easily accessible behind it. The cottage was comfortable with a very good bed and shower. It had everything we needed.

We stayed at Buttercup Cottage for a short staycation and it's been an amazing escape to the country 💚 The cottage was lovely! Very spacious and tastefully decorated. The bed and bedding were super comfortable. The kitchen was sufficiently equipped, so we could prepare our own meals. The location also was perfect: quiet countryside, beautiful woodland to walk the dog. The nearest pub Kings Head is just 20 minutes walk away (accepting dogs in the beer garden and bar area). Brackley town just minutes drive away with plenty of pubs and other eateries, as well as lovely small market (this was on Friday) and amazing butchers. We loved our little holidays in the Buttercup Cottage 💓 it's been everything we needed! Thank you!!!
