Nothing to fault, everything was exceptional.

Extremely comfortable, large room with great amenities. Nicola, our host, provided daily snacks and drinks in the room and recommendations on things to do and where to visit. Very quiet location. Close to Hay on Wye for a little town visit.

Beautiful house and location. Delicious breakfast if museli, yoghurt and fruit. Tasty homemade banana bread too!

We were initially disappointed at being advised breakfast was only muesli and yogurt in the room rather than a cooked breakfast but in fact it was such a lovely room and also included fruit, banana bread, local apple juice, excellent coffee and a nice chocolate biscuit! The mattress was also the best I've ever slept on. Nicola was lovely.

I liked everything about this place!

It was an exceptional place to stay. A huge room and bathroom, and beautiful grounds to wander around. And very dog friendly too. The room decor was stunning. We felt like we were royalty! The breakfast of cereal and fruit in my room suited me well and made for a very relaxing start to the day. It was very kind of the host to make a dairy free cake for me and very much appreciated. It was on a quiet road with doggie walks along the Mortimer Way straight from the door.

    Nothing, we loved it all.

Beautiful Vicarage, nice big room overlooking the garden. Very quite and tranquil. Bed was super comfy and the ultimate roll top bath topped it off. The homemade apple cake was delicious and we had in our room lovely little paper card and rose as it was our first wedding anniversary. Beautiful touch which was much appreciated. We had a delicious meal in The Stagg Inn which was literally 5minute walk away, made with some delicious local produce. Would definitely recommend

There were no 'dislikes' at all.

We were made very welcome at The Old Vicarage. The room overlooking the property's garden was first class; quiet, comfortable, spacious and well equipped. The continental breakfast provided in our room was top quality.

The Old Vicarage is stunning. The room was large and beautifully appointed with everything you would need. Nicola and Steve are wonderful hosts. Nicola thoughtfully emailed us a great list of things to do in the area and intuitively delivered things to our room that she thought we might need to make our stay more enjoyable. The grounds are beautiful and we had a lovely time enjoying the croquet that Steve set up for us. There are lovely walks from the gate of the property and the local pub is great.

What a great little gem. From the time we arrived, the host was brilliant. We had cake waiting for us and the host was there to offer ice and even wine glasses if required, in the fridge was water , apple juice, milk plus yogurt for our breakfast the following day, this included muesli and fruit as well. The room was perfect for our needs, a large comfortable bed, extra large towels in the bathroom, plus Epson salts, shampoo, and bodywash. The large roll-top bath had a shower attached to the bath, so expect to shower sat down

    Nothing, all good!

Nicola was a great host, warm, friendly and helpful with advice and any requirements. House and bedroom beautifully presented in a traditional style. We only had a one night stop over, but the area was very pleasant and we enjoyed a walk through the village and a pint at the pub/restaurant, 'The Stagg Inn'. Simple, quality breakfast and beverages provided in a cute pantry off the bedroom - a nice touch.

The toilet was noisy and fiance had an issue with using the cafetière but nothing that would phase us. Also theres not loads of plugs and none near the bed but we just charged and unplugged where we could

Being me and my fiance's anniversary night away this was the most amazing magical best value for money place we have ever stayed. The room was huge and beautiful. The view was amazing. The tea and coffee facilities were really special. The tea pot was a nice touch and the fridge was a lovely addition. I got cold and I asked if there was a way to turn heating and the host gave me a heater because it was august which I thought was so thoughtful. The shower was easy to use. The bed was so comfy we had our first lie in for ages.
