We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

Lovely character property, lovely breakfast and staff friendly. Very dog friendly with a box in room full of treats, bowls etc. River view room had amazing window to sit with a tea and watch the world go by.

United KingdomLack of lift. Jacuzzi in bath did not function. Bedside light did not work and so we swapped it for another one. Why was there only one bedside light? There was no light for the other bed. Sound proofing the floors between bedrooms would be desirable as footsteps above could be heard distinctly. Breakfast a little mean on portions 1 bacon slice, one sausage, one poached egg, baked beans were lukewarm. Limited dinner menu choices and so we went elsewhere. More written information ie map of nearest long stay car parks.
Nice room, and en-suite, spacious, comfortable beds, clean. Good toiletries. Plenty of space to put wash bag, makeup etc in bathroom. Good quality bath sheet size towels. Window seal blown so double glazed panels need replacing. Air conditioning in room available. Did not mind being in the back of the building as there is less noise. Both receptionists were very good that we dealt with - helpful, smiles on their faces, wanted to know how our stay was etc.

Full of character, perfect location for exploring Dartmouth. Staff friendly and attentive. Food was very good. Very clean. Beds were really comfortable, lovely big towels, great shower.

The Royal Castle Hotel, was a lovely stay, old and quirky with a perfect location. We stayed in The lockout room in the attic, which had an amazing view of Dartmouth and we would definitely stay in this room again, but the staircase is not suitable to all.
