Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United KingdomSize of room could be bigger but it was big enough for me
The evening meals were good quality pub food standard, tasty and good portions. The hotel is a short walk to the shops and restaurants. The cooking facilities in the room were better than I expected.

ThailandGiven the early sunrise, heavy curtains would be welcome for those who wake at the crack of dawn. Some may find the hotel old fashioned, but it meets every need for the savvy traveller.
An older hotel that has been refurbished in the last 5 years. It is in the heart of the black country, a few minutes from the Black Country Museum, Dudley Zoo, and the Merry Hill shopping complex. Very convenient for a day out around Iron Bridge and the surrounding area.. The twin room was large, had a kitchenette, and adjoining bathroom. There is a connecting door to the room next door, making for an ideal family stay. There is a small elevator for accessing the upper floors. There is a bar and restaurant connection to the large parking lot.

United KingdomNot a dislike as such but not any information regarding meals or if they did breakfast. Not a problem as we just ate out but might be helpful.
Large room for me and my son. Comfy clean beds. Loved the peaky blinders bar. The barman was very friendly

United KingdomLack of coat hangers. Lack of sound proofing.
Continuity. I've stayed there several times now and I see no reason to change venue. The restaurant leaves a bit to be desired, but suites my basic needs. Location is exactly where I need it.

United KingdomA cooked breakfast is available next door in The Office. The bed was nice and comfy, the kitchenette has a sink, a microwave and tea, coffee, cups and a kettle. The location is very handy as it is next to Dudley Zoo and the Black Country Museum is just down the hill.

United KingdomWe went to Dudley specifically for the Zoo, Black Country Living Museaum and the Dudley Canal Trust and this is perfectly positioned for all of these. All within 10 minutes or less walking distance and the Zoo is closest, just across the road. Quite reasonably priced too.

United KingdomWindow barely open in the room and not at all in the bathroom, the room was very hot. The hotel itself self don’t do breakfast you book it at the bar next door in all honesty I wouldn’t bother go else where!
Excellent location room was clean, there was a kitchenette in our room which we wasn’t expecting! Tea and coffee so can’t complain. The room is dated and could do with a spruce up. If you are just looking for a cheap room and a comfy bed then this is the place to be.

United KingdomThe pillow cases had marks on them. Dust on the lil’ unit by the toilet - no heating but I was given an electric heater when I pointed this out.
Location was ideal. Free parking was a touch. Customer service was outstanding, Jack, (I think was his name) kindly assisted me with carrying my suitcase as I had a baby in a car seat and there were additional steps after leaving the lift. He also brought up some bits I had delivered unexpectedly.

United StatesHaving to walk through the bar from the car park to get to reception . I liked it when you could enter from the Banqueting doors. The modernization of the rooms was also sad to see especially as the 'finish' was 'rough' . Rooms need more lighting - 'bed side lamps' - the led behind the beds are not great for reading - just for ambiance.
Loved the laundry facilities and games room. Comfy beds. great value. good location. ( maybe a little bias as I grew up in Dudley ;) )

United KingdomShower cubicle was very small. Towels were small and paper thin. Unfortunately the location was so noisy all night long due to being on a very busy junction of a main road - loose man hole covers banging as every vehicle drove over them, sirens, motorbikes and cars racing down that stretch of road. Windows weren't double glazed so even keeping them shut didn't make any difference. Because of this, I wouldn't return to this hotel. Obviously when the hotel was built the surrounding area would have been more rural. Money needs to be spent on making it more suitable for the circumstances now.
Bed was very comfortable, room and ensuite shower room were clean. Staff were helpful and friendly. The kitchenette was unexpected and it was good to have a fridge and more if we were staying longer.

United KingdomAs the main entrance way to the Reception desk at the front of the building was closed, it was necessary to go round the back in search of an alternative route through the "Office Bar". More information about the food options available for breakfast and dinner when checking in would have been helpful.
The Station Hotel is conveniently located for a stop-over in Dudley, It is very close to Dudley Castle and Dudley Zoo. My room was clean and tidy. The 'Peaky Blinders'-themed 'Office Bar' located below the hotel bedrooms has friendly staff and a very good sound system.
