We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

United KingdomThe shower wasn’t very warm but we were right at the top of the building so perhaps couldn’t be helped.
Location was fantastic and the views from our room of the castle and over farmland were amazing. Good sized family room and dog friendly hotel. Evening meal in the restaurant and breakfast were fantastic in terms of choice/quality/portions and the service was fantastic, the young lady serving us was so helpful and hard working.

United KingdomNot so much a criticism of what we didn't like but more an observation for anyone thinking of staying at the Sunningdale and that is parking. The roadside parking is an issue, albeit mostly outside of the control of the establishment, so be prepared to be flexible about parking. Bamburgh itself is very popular with parking spaces in the village nearly always maxed out, particularly at weekends. Fortunately for us it didn't cause to much of a headache, but best be aware.
Staff were excellent and made our stay all the more enjoyable. They even notified us in advance regarding eating arrangements during our stay with offer to arrange evening meal at sister hotel on one of the nights the service was unavailable. Although only the two of us we were located in the Family room so more than adequate accommodation for our three day stay. As a diabetic I can definitely vouch that the Breakfast selection is more than enough to meet majority of guests needs. That said should you have any concerns the staff will make every attempt to meet your requests if you ask. Our Sunday evening meal was excellent and it was very clear everyone involved at The Sunningdale take great pride in providing the best service they can for guests. It's a popular choice and we were very fortunate to find availability on the dates we wanted.

United KingdomThe large clock in the bedroom had quite a loud tick during the night. It didn't bother me too much as I was very tired, but it might keep awake a lighter sleeper. Also, we found the mattress very hard, but that is just our preference.
The perfect location to visit Bamburgh Castle and the beach. Also, a short drive to Lindisfarne. The staff were friendly and polite. A good breakfast buffet and also a good selection of a cooked breakfast. The basket at reception with extra tea bags, milk, sugar etc was a nice touch, as I find a lot of hotels never leave enough in the rooms.

United KingdomAn excellent establishment in a lovely quiet village, run by friendly and efficient staff. Breakfast was outstanding (cooked options plus a self-service buffet) as was the dinner menu. I liked that the room had tea/coffee making facilities and USB charging sockets. On site parking is limited, but parking on the street was no problem. The hotel is only a few mins walk from Bamburgh Castle.
