Definitely the best place I stayed in Scotland! I stayed in different accommodations each day, ranging from hostels and B&Bs to 4-star hotels, and this one was the best. The place was exceptionally clean and pleasant, with everything in perfect working order. The bed was very comfortable, and there was ample parking available. The breakfast was excellent. The owners were on-site, very approachable, and eager to help with everything.

Loved everything.

The guesthouse was well located for all activities and places to eat. The guesthouse was very clean and we had a lovely breakfast. Jane and Jordan who were our hosts do an excellent job of running this property and making you feel so welcome. They are an irreplaceable asset to this guesthouse. We wish them all the best of everything. Highly recommend a stay at this guesthouse. You won’t be disappointed.

There wasn't anything that we didn't like about the Thistle Guesthouse. We weren't sure initially about having a separate but private bathroom but it was no problem at all.

Jayne and Jordan are exceptional hosts and clearly go to great lengths to ensure everyone enjoys their stay. The location is great and the entire property is spotlessly clean. The breakfasts each day were delicious.

I honestly can’t think of anything. Highly recommend.

My top three are the kind hosts, the daily breakfast, and the shower! The bed was also very comfortable and room suitable space for just me (I booked the single). The other guests were also very courteous about quiet hours, which I appreciated! (fantastic water pressure and temp)

Very friendly staff, well organized guesthouse, very good breakfast (full english, vegetarian or with salmon), room and bathroom well clean. Position of the guesthouse it's perfect, near to the main city Portree and at the same time in a very quiet area. Free parking for visitors.

My only complain would be that the pillows are a bit too hard for my liking and maybe it could be stated clearer that the bathroom is not en-suite

Our room needed some touch ups from scuffs but besides that we were very happy with our stay.

The breakfast was outstanding, and our host was lovely; she really knew the area and gave us some really good advice on where to find hidden treasures on the island. I highly recommend staying here, we loved it!

Unfortunately, the bedroom above us had VERY squeaky floorboards when the guests walked about, meaning our sleep pattern was impacted. We made the staff aware of this.

The cooked breakfast was excellent and was cooked by a professional chef. Very friendly staff who made us feel really at home and easy to talk to.

The bedroom had two beds but only one nightstand on the far side. It was very inconvient but I could see there was not alot of room to work with. It would have bean great to have a milk alternative like oatmilk on the breakfast bar for coffee and cereals. They may have had some in the kitchen but I don't like asking. I didn't like the sign as you enter the building to take off shoes. I was freezing and I felt like I was breaking the rules.

The location was serene. Being vegan I loved that vegan sausages were an option. The easy of parking. The very friendly hostess was delightful.

Jordan and Jayne were the perfect hosts - they were extremely friendly and knowledgeable about the area (and beyond); they also cooked a tasty breakfast! The room was really cosy and we were lucky to see some beautiful sun rises from our bedroom window. Bathroom facilities perfect - good to have a decent shower! Thank you for a lovely stay.
