9 and not 10 because the standard twin room is very small. Fortunately we didn't have much luggage or it would be very cramped.

A welcome sight after a long walk. Lovely food and beer. Friendly and helpful staff. Thank you for providing us a meal on a Sunday night when the kitchen is normally closed.

Squeaky floorboards above our room when the person above was moving about/using water meant that sleep from about 6:30 was not easy. Suspect that’s just par for the course in an old building, though.

We are a retired Australian couple on a cycling holiday. The Victoria was close to our route and our hist provided excellent secure storage and charging facilities for our e-bikes. The room was comfortable and the shower excellent after a long day cycling. Both dinner and breakfast were excellent.

Not many buses so getting there by foot is quite a challenge. Better transport for not motorised people would be great! :)

Beautiful place with soul. Really tasty breakfast & super tasty pub meals! Breathtaking views, helpful staff. I had wonderful time there. Planning another trip soon to discover the rest of the surroundings.

Welcoming and friendly hosts, clean rooms, lovely cooked breakfast and excellent real ales. Location is in the beautiful Yorkshire Dales, and we used it as a base to explore the Ingleborough Caves and Ingleton waterfalls.

The venue was beautiful. Just as you would expect for the location. Lovely warm welcome, roaring fire. Room was beautifully clean and made the most of period features. Food was all freshly made and great value.

Is it a pub? Is it a guest house? Well it's both actually! A lovely place to stay with an excellent cooked breakfast to set you up for a day's walking and a great choice of evening meals (with traditional puddings like treacle sponge and custard) in the bar at the end of the day. Pete, Sue and Charlotte couldn't do enough to make our stay enjoyable and we certainly intend to return. (P.S. It appears to be very dog friendly too !)

beautiful ! picture postcard. From the moment we arrived the staff couldn’t have been more friendly, cosy real fire, excellent food ( breakfast and dinner😍) and welcomed our dog Ted. Room was excellent with views of the church and had everything we needed and more. Set in a gorgeous village within 15 minutes easy walk of Malham and great riverside walks. Highly recommend if you love peace and quiet, beautiful walks and the stunning countryside of the Dales.

We had a phone call asking what type of bed we required. We were attending a funeral in the adjoining church and arrived at 11am and were let into the room early so that we could change. Nothing was too much trouble. Our evening meal was delightful with the fish superb. At breakfast my wife commented on the lovely coffee so we were given a bag to take home.

The breakfast and the food generally was amazing, (best bacon and sausages we've ever had!) Staff was super friendly and nice. The beds were incredibly comfy and the shower was like being down a waterfall (which is obviously really good). What else can I say, very good value for money
