Everything was good, although the large bathroom could do with some better lighting.

It was perfect for a relaxing break. We had our own balcony to just sit and enjoy the view. So much thought had gone into providing everything you would need, fresh milk, bottled water, toiletries and fluffy towels. The food at the pub was delicious.

The hosts were so welcoming and clearly take pride in ensuring you have the best stay with them . Everywhere is spotless and it was lovely to enjoy the character of an old pub with the modern , spacious facilities in your accommodation. Food and service were exceptional. Location was perfect , stunning views and so peaceful ! Would highly recommend for a relaxing get away. We will definitely be back!

Everything was amazing. If I had to say one negative it would be the lack of hooks around the accommodation but that’s just a minor thing.

So clean, rooms were amazing, spacious. Staff were so friendly. Views are lovely and gardens are well kept. Food is absolutely delicious. We will be back, 100%!

This is our 4th visit and we cannot praise it enough. Beautiful large rooms which are always pristine with the added bonus of a small fridge with a pint of fresh milk and bottled water. The atmosphere is very peaceful and the views are lovely as can be seen in the pictures.

They got very hot in the evening and no air conditioning. There was a fan supplied though.

Beautiful quiet location. Fabulous views from the bedrooms and the beer garden. The staff were exceptional all very friendly, polite and welcoming. All were genuinely keen to make your stay as easy as possible. The rooms were fabulous, large and airy and spotlessly clean. Dinner was a delight with beautifully presented dishes that were way above ‘pub food level’. Breakfast was cooked to order, fresh and plentiful.

The staff were very helpful and friendly. The views are fabulous. The rooms are incredible. Wonderful. Very spacious and immaculate. The outside seating on a fine day is amazing. Wonderful views. The food was very good as was the wine listing. Breakfast was excellent. Will definitely be returning. It’s a real find.

Property was on quite a steep slope if u have walking difficulty. We managed ok.

Dinner was a little disappointing…first time ever after a few visits. The pork was a bit dry sadly and we would have appreciated more veg. Breakfast however was first class!

The choice on the menu was quite limited and such a shame the bar closed at 8 on a sunny bank holiday Sunday.

Absolutely superb place.We had the luxury room and it really was beautiful.The bed was so comfortable,a huge bathroom,lovely terrace and stunning views.Had breakfast and Sunday dinner and both were out standing.

Our entire stay was perfect .

All facilities were excellent, booking in we were greeted with a warm & friendly welcome , our room was wonderfully clean & comfortable with tea / coffee facilities & fresh milk in the fridge , breakfast was served fresh to the table with everything you could want & dinner as you’d expect to find in a 5⭐️ restaurant . Have stayed here before , & can not recommend highly enough .

Absolutely nothing not to like

What an exceptional room with a perfect view across the hills. Lovely comfortable bed. The seating area was amazing just to sit and watch the sun go down. Bathroom was excellent with lush toiletries and fluffy towels. Breakfast was great too. We also ate in the restaurant on Friday night and couldn’t fault the food or the service. A credit to all the staff
