If I had to mention one thing, it was a bit far from the town, especially by foot. But nothing too much, and the seclusion did also have its perks.

It was incredibly spacious with the most amazing view. It had everything a person might need, for cooking and in the bathroom.

The apartment was spacious and thoughtfully designed for comfort and practicality, affording privacy and lovely views of the surroundings. Self catering was a breeze in the well appointed kitchen and parking available at the property. Location was also excellent for Portree and as a jumping point for all of Skye’s attractions. Spotlessly clean, comfortable bed and lounge and a great shower, our stay was beyond our expectations!

There is nothing not to like!

The Walk-up is a lovely apartment in a great location! The apartment has every amenity you need with a comfortable bed and a spacious bathroom. We enjoyed the view and the walk down to Portree is a nice 15-20 minutes. The hosts are so friendly and welcoming and gave us good advice on dinner and activities. We’ve been on a 2-week UK trip and this stay was our favorite by far!

We loved how comfortable it was, wonderful to come back to after a day of exploring. We made our meals, which was so enjoyable, after eating restaurant food for three weeks 🙂 We will definitely stay there again and highly recommend The Walk-Up. Thank you Richard and Clare 🙂

Everything about this accomodation was fantastic. The hosts were thoughtful and really lovely. The location was great. Could walk into the town and only took 15? Minutes. Regardless was a great walk and let us save on having to park in the busy Portree.

We loved the self-contained apartment. It was super clean and the owners had thought of everything to make the stay comfortable. The bed was very comfortable and the decor was fresh and modern. The instructions for the using the kitchen appliances and in general were very clear and detailed. Great views from the living area and bedroom windows. Excellent location as could walk into Portree from the apartment. Would definitely book again.

AMAZING! such a pitty I can't rate it with a 11 or 12 out of 10. The place is beatifuly decorated and so cozy. Bed very comfortable and the kitchen has everything you need to prepare your food. I loved the shower and in fact, everything of it. Super relaxing place. You need the car to get there, and it's 2min drive to the center (you can actually walk for around 15min). I'm actually thinking to go back for longer time, 3 days was not enough :)

We stayed for several nights and overall it was very enjoyable! Very clean and pretty place. Nice pleasant smell, lovely furnitures and utensils, nice pictures on the wall, wide spaces for relaxing and enjoying the time in Portree. Richard also a very helpful and kind host. Wish we can stay there longer!

Ktchen description implies an oven is available as one is listed separately to the microwave. However, no separate standard oven and only a convection microwave oven to use which I didn't find as good. Noise from owners family (who, we found out after we arrived, were staying most of the time we were there) downstairs was quite noticeable which also made us feel we needed to be extra quiet so we wouldn't disturb them. The pillows and bed linen could do with updating. Crockery setting for 4 people, instead of just 2, would allow water and power savings so that you only need to fill the sink once at the end of the day and not after each meal.

Quite a spacious setup with newish decor. The velux windows gave great views and opened/closed easily for fresh air. Great sized bathroom with a very generous sized shower. Quite thankful to be able to turn off the room heating. Good off road parking onsite.

Beautiful apartment, dead comfy and immaculately clean. Lots of nice extras left for us to use. Clear instructions on how to use things. Great hosts. Parking is on-site and a 20 minute walk to the town centre. Would definitely stay here again!

We loved our stay at the Walk-Up. The apartment has stunning views of mountains and the surrounding countryside. It was immaculately clean, beautifully furnished and equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. It was quiet and peaceful, yet only a short drive away from the centre of Portree. It made a perfect base for exploring Skye. Highly recommended.

Can't think of a single thing to complain about.

The location was excellent and the flat was spotless and smelled amazing! The bathroom was top notch! Definitely the best on our 3 week trip around the UK. Our host was so kind as well. He left out some local beers which was such a great touch.
