Perfect location for a family event, nice decor, extremely comfortable bed, generously stocked bathroom and tea/coffee station (especially as we only stayed for 1 night), parking right outside. Would definitely recommend, in particular for short stays in the Cotswolds.

Warm welcome to a lovely, traditional English pub. Great room with drinks and biscuits. The Red Lion, a five minute stroll away, served us a very nice evening meal for about £30 each including drinks.

From the outside, pub displays Greene King branding so my heart sank a bit on arrival, however it is not clear whether GK still own it (none of their usuals on offer), so if it is independent now, take down the brand.

Great little find. Room was lovely with lots of little touches to make it very welcoming. REAL coffee!! The pub is lovely serving local real ales so right up my street. Hosts were friendly. Would go back, no hesitation.

The only thing we would (reluctantly) fault it on is that the bed was very creaky and we didn't find it the most comfortable.

The walls were rather thin so could hear people next door chatting.

We were made extremely welcome and everyone was very friendly. The rooms were in a courtyard so a little away from the main pub. All very clean and lovely proper coffee in the rooms. Even hair straighteners!

Some sort of generator outside that kept turning on though the night, as had window open, could hear it constantly.

Everything was fine

The staff were extremely pleasant and helpful with the atmosphere in the bar was great. The room was clean and well equipped; just what was needed for a short stay.

Wasn’t sure how to enter the property as the inn door was locked. There is a black iron gate at the left hand side which is the entry point.

Out of the hustle and bustle of Oxford but within easy reach of a frequent bus service. This was ideal as parking in Oxford is problematic.

Location was very easy to get to from the main road. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Room was clean, bed was very comfortable and the bath was an added bonus!

Both the room and the location were great. The pub/hotel is located just a couple of minutes walk from the centre of Eynsham. Tracey was friendly and helpful, and the ambience within the pub was one of a very friendly local and was enjoyable to have a drink during the evening.

Very convenient for the centre of the village. The room had all the essentials and was comfortable, clean and tidy. It was warm overnight when I stayed there, so air con would have been a bonus. Well set up for pups. Everyone was very friendly and helpful.

. Room very small... the bed was v close to the door. We arrived in pouring rain and had difficulty not soaking the bed with our coats and bags. It was much smaller than the room in the picture

The other complaints on here about noise. Yes there was some occasional noise from the pub but we've stayed in far noisier places. It really was not an issue.

Everything you could need, at a great price in a beautiful village location. Friendly service. Excellent base for Oxford/Blenheim. Great choice of quality places to eat in walking distance. Takeaway sandwiches bought from the local cafes and our evening meal at Red lion were delicious. The White Hart has a large beer garden and comfy sofas inside to enjoy a drink.

Wonderful little retreat in Eynsham. Proprietor went out of her way to accommodate me, including an early check-in and complimentary tea! Very cozy and comfortable room with a garden window. Nice breakfast in the morning!
