The immaculately decorated rooms, the beds are beyond comfortable too. Cannot recommend enough. Im in the process of booking my fourth visit.

The glass door in the bathroom which meant you could be seen using the toilet from the bedroom.

This was a family weekend for an 80th Birthday. Major power outage all evening which caused disruption. The Pub did their best. Booking & advance orders was not handled well

We visited The Wishful Thinker to celebrate my friend's son's birthday after visiting Leeds castle. We were met by a wonderful and cheerful manager who was welcoming, communicative and extremely friendly. She informed us about the hotel facilities and other activities inside and outside the hotel. The staff were lovely and the meal and breakfast was awesome!! Could not fault the hospitality!!

A double flight of stairs up to the rooms (but we were offered help with luggage).

Mostly new-built, very stylish. Big room. Big car park. Superb breakfast. Excellent dinner in their big (rather noisy) restaurant (open to non-residents), very busy with mostly young clientele. The staff are great.

Lovely pub/hotel that had just reopened with brand new refit.

The room lacked anywhere to put bags. A couple of suitcase racks would have been useful to save scrabbling about on the floor. We found the room very warm even with the window open all the time, especially at night which affected our sleep. No aircon or fan available. Room doors could do with a soft close. Very noisy if left to close by themselves. The water in the shower was very hot with no way of cooling it down. I struggled to shower in it. Some towel hooks near the shower would be handy too. Visitors need a car as the hotel is located down long, windy country lanes. Live music on Saturday which no one mentioned. It was very loud and our room was rocking! Perfect if you enjoy a live show whilst eating or sleeping. The band was very good though. Just not for us.

Recently refurbished hotel, sandwiched between the M20 and the HS1 line. We found it fun to watch the trains and the sound did not disturb us. Beautiful, spacious rooms with contemporary decor, sleigh bed and coffee machine. Lovely large bathroom. Breakfast options excellent. Granola bowl huge. No way could I eat so much. Weekly specials for dining were a welcome sight. The restaurant is big and the food delicious. There are plenty of options for sitting/eating outdoors and a few quaint ‘sheds’ for small parties or families. For such a huge venue, we still found a couple of cosy places in the bar area to sit for a while. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. Plenty of car parking on site. Lovely village of Lenham is not too far away. A couple of good pubs with food. We also ate at the Red Lion. Great!

The bathroom’s door has a window, therefore no privacy at the toilet . The prices are high for the food taste etc. Location is very secluded , can’t go anywhere by foot , unless you want to be hit by a car , no pavement . Thank God we had a car to travel.

The property is very beautifully decorated . Big TV screen and clean bathroom. Staff are very friendly and helpful.
