Disappointing not to have the option of dining in the hotel in the evening- they only provide evening meals for functions and large group bookings. The bar didn't do any cocktails at all. As there was no fridge in the room I went down to the bar to ask if it was possible to have some ice to take up to the the room, but got a flat refusal. Generally felt they weren't very customer focused.

Clean comfortable room with basic amenities, including nice towels and toiletries. Very good buffet breakfast, well cooked. Especially enjoyed the little tumblers of fresh fruit salad and the croissants. Excellent central location in a most attractive little city.

Paying for parking Noise from kitchen fans starting up about 06:00 Occasional sound of trains puling into the station, not the hotels fault but it is near to the station

Comfortable hotel in the centre of Worcester. Ideal for access to Worcester, also just opposite Foregate train station. Largish car park at rea of hotel (£10 per night or £20 per night for a reserved spot) Great buffet breakfast, plus they will make extras individually e.g. porridge, omelettes, poach eggs etc. I didn't get time to use the leisure facilities but there is a gym and swimming pool on site

The receptionist that greeted us on arrival was more than helpful,

Bar should be open earlier than 6 PM, after walking round the city on a very warm day a cool drink would have been very welcome. Consequently we did not use the bar and there didn’t appear to be any proper draught beer available anyway.

It doesn’t shout its presence on the outside but is quite impressive as one walks into the reception area with a magnificent staircase with lovely cast iron balustrades which must be superb for a wedding photographer, I could picture a bride making a grand entrance at the top and descending with her gown cascading down behind! Check in was quick and efficient the room was easy to find with nice convenient lifts to our 3rd floor. Nicely decorated clean room with all the bits you would expect in a good hotel albeit with no view from the window but we were not expecting one anyway. We just had a standard room. Good clean bathroom with a good light for shaving, surprising how many places have poor lighting both over the washbasin and in the room for ladies to put on their makeup. The bed was good if a little firm for me. Good fresh and hot buffet breakfast in pleasant bistro with nice staff. A good central city location just over the road from the railway station but not noisy. There appeared to be car parking available although we had come by train. Well situated for the main shopping areas, cafes and restaurants also a 2 minute walk to the museum and fine Guildhall, a short walk to the Cathedral and walk along the Severn with more swans than I have ever seen in one place. They do not operate the restaurant in the evenings fortunately it’s not a problem with so many local places to eat we walked 100 yards to a nice Italian restaurant where we had an excellent meal. We would be happy to stay here again.

The door from the first floor corridor to the lift was difficult to use with a wheelchair. We only became aware that there was ramp access to the hotel when the paramedics used it to access the ambulance.

The original room allocation was unsuitable for a wheel chair. This was changed immediately on speaking to a receptionist and the new room was very comfort and quiet. Staff were very helpful when ambulance staff attended my husband.

Only one bedside light. The hot water to the bath and shower seemed take an age to arrive. We were in the new part. Great for a city "over-night" but no view for those who need one.

Hotel was opposite the station and suited our purposes in this respect. A short walk to the town centre and cathedral and riverside. Excellent bed and room well equipped - good for business and leisure - table with two chairs useful.
