How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

We where back at hotel from wedding and bar person refused us a late drink (night cap) even though it was only around 12 midnight.
Location and hotel and room very good. Breakfast was really nice and brought to your table. Staff very friendly.

The hotel was fantastic. A brilliant breakfast and we had the 6 course carvery, wow, what a feed, go hungry. Staff were very nice especially in the restaurant.

T his hotel does not have an elevator should be mindful of this when booking especially if you are staying at the top of the hotel.
Everything was nice, staff nice food good grounds very nice.

Wedding directly below my room on a Monday night went on until after mid night which wasn’t ideal, didn’t bother me too much however would have been better had the wedding guests had rooms that close to the party! Breakfast is only average.
A very attractive property that is clean throughout with excellent staff. Restaurant was very nice with great options and first class food and drink offerings.

Breakfast was basic. Appreciate it was self service. However , left in banberee to long. Sodas were tough and rubbery. Bacon was low end.
Lovely staff. Good clean rooms. Entertainment was excellent.

Staff NOT at reception on arrival so we didn't know where to go. Also the staff on breakfast service not very customer orientated.
The room and ensuite was very good and spotless - however I had booked a twin room (had to share bed with my friend) and arrived after 1.45 am to room - as we were attending a wedding in another hotel therefore wasn't able to check out facilities prior to going to wedding as room was unavailable (we had called prior to arrival day to see if we could arrive early to change - told no - had to change in toilets)

Other guests slammed their doors at 2, 3 and 4 am.
Efficiently run hotel with pleasant, helpful staff. The room was a little on the small side but comfortable. Some of the rooms are in an annexe.

bathroom was a bit dated. shower was ok but over bath. safety handle within bath plus shower screen made it very small area for washing in.

There were no shower caps in the bathroom. Other than that the facilities are very good.
Good parking provided. Friendly and very helpful staff. The room was really clean and very comfortable. A full breakfast is provided with plenty of choices right down to how you like your eggs.

The breakfast was very disappointing the bread at the toaster was not fresh it was hard all around the crust. The cooked breakfast very disappointing ,the sausages were the most disgusting taste and the soda and potatoe bread was hard they seem to be cooked in the deep fat fryer then put under heat lamps not fresh at all
The staff friendly and as it was our wedding anniversary we were upgraded to the suite. Which was lovely

Only comments I would make is the bedding was heavy for this time of year, lighter summer bedding option. Needs to market this property more aside from Weddings also would suit international tourists next to a Golf course and close to Giants Coastal Route attractions has a lot to offer..
A glorious hotel in a lovely setting on it's own grounds with walks and plenty outdoor seating, plenty of parking very well run family owned property. Newly refurbished lovely spacious family room with elegant interiors, bright and very comfortable and quiet. Lovely dining bar area with a lovely bar food menu and a beautiful decor with live entertainment on Sunday evening a real find after finishing the Giants causeway coastline to arrive at this lovely destination. A lovely cooked breakfast served with self serve buffet options.

our room was right beside a road so we could hear all the traffic.
the room was nicely designed, the bathroom was lovely and the bed was reasonably comfy.
