Breakfast was delicious, as much or as little as you wanted with a variety of choice.

Couple of springs poking through the mattress a bit but didn't ruin out stay.

Excellent spacious room in a very desirable walking area. Great to have fridge and kitchen utensils and fab shower with very hot water. We had Sunday roast pork dinner on our first night, 1 of the best pub meals we have ever had, and there was plenty, was welcome after our walk.

A delightful old-fashioned little pub with lovely clean and comfortable accommodation. In a great location and friendly staff all round. Excellent food and real ales. Couldn't have asked for more.

Cosy, rustic and super dog friendly. Beautiful welcome and Donkeys outside the patio gates. Loads of hot water. Plentiful proper hot water and nice towels. Easy off road parking. Nice food in the evening and a lovely varied choice of breakfast.

We love staying here, accommodation is perfect for our needs, location is beautiful and staff and food is fab… we have even now made friends with the locals who greet us in the pub when we stay…. Like home from home but in a beautiful location and not the hustle and bustle of London.

In an amazing location - the New Forest. Beautiful surroundings. The room was large and well equipped with fridge, microwave, kettle etc. Ample supply of tea, coffee sugar. The pub itself was gorgeous and full of character. Unfortunately, only had breakfast in there because of prior arrangements the previous day. Breakfast was cooked fresh, plentiful and delicious.

Accommodation needed a little attention, patches of paint missing on wall, tear in curtain. Floors were stone/granite tiles, so very cold (slippers were provided though). Outside door was difficult to open, sticking at bottom, possibly due to the wet weather. No TV controls, had to ask for them!

Separate accommodation around back of old traditional pub with own patio, well equipped, small kitchen area with fridge, microwave. Coffee and tea etc, (decaff coffee would be good to add.). Quiet and good parking. Breakfast was good, although be nice to have had some choice of fruit. Meal in pub was good. Staff very friendly.

Once we had been moved ( due to an issue with the door not locking which caused the cold weather to come in ) we were very pleased with the room. We were initially in Rabbits but ended up in Horses where we stayed for 3 nights. We didn’t find the bed particularly comfortable but everyone is different so you might.

The staff were brilliant. Very friendly, & helpful. It was just what we were looking for, a lovely old traditional pub. The accommodation was well equipped. There was the usual kettle , microwave , crockery etc. Tea, coffee, & hot chocolate. There wasn’t any milk but it wasn’t a problem for us. The food in the pub was excellent. Always great service.

The bed was a tad uncomfortable and only 1 comfortable chair so had to lay on the bed

Pub and hosts are excellent. Beer is good, food is good and atmosphere is great. Had an excellent evening in a very British old style pub. It was quiz night which we joined in and where accepted by the locals. Room was nice and warm and comfortable

The accommodation was lovely. Clean, spacious and comfortable with free parking on site. All the staff were very friendly. The location was in the quiet little village of East Boldre. An 8 minute drive from Beauliau Motor Museum and 6 miles from Lymington. Breakfast was excellent with a number of choices on the menu and included cereals, yoghurt, toast, orange juice, tea & coffee.
