The staircase is extremely narrow, as is the bathroom. Do not expect much from the breakfast, there was very little to choose from.

The location is perfect if you want to stay close to the center but on a budget (at least off-season). The staff was very nice and let us leave our bags there. The central heating was working! :)

The hotel itself needs a major revamp all over to get to some level of modernisation. The rooms are old and things ses so fragile that they are literally falling off the wall. The toilet is very tight and a large person will struggle! The shower takes 5 minutes to get warm and the TV....the screen is tiny and the technology is so old that the screen pixels mean you see shadows when you view from.certain angles! I don't mean to be negative as the staff were superb but the owners need to invest big time. I went with my 10 year Diabetic tupe 1 son and was disappointed with the facilities and hope this feedback prompts the owners to invest in upgrading the establishment as you cannot fault the staff.

The location was absolutely spot on with easy walking to many of London's major landmarks. The staff were extremely polite and helpful and go out of their way to ensure you feel at home.

The fact that it was a very small room, with a small window, where you could only see a courtyard, and the dominating color was grey. It looks more like a cell than a room. Besides, one night we had to tell the receptionist that the central heating wasn't working. I must say that he solved the problem immediately. Although in general, all the staff was nice and friendly, the last night we had to wait outside, were we freezing, because "Mr Recepcionist" hung a label saying that she needed to be absent for "5" minutes... The question is: Why didn't he leave the door open instead of obliging us to freeze outside?

Both the room and bathroom were too small. The bathroom had no natural ventilation at all, only a noisy ventilator. The water temperature was good, there was neither mat for the feet nor a broom for the toilet. It wasn't easy to dry yourself without leaving the bathroom, it was too small.

The double rooms are extremely small. For the person sleeping beside the window to get in or out of bed the other person has to get up as that side of the bed is near the wall. The bathroom is so small that you can hardly close the door.

The location is very near tube with lots of restaurants.

The breakfast was okay, if there wasn't for the option to order fried eggs or omelette, it would not be worth it. The room was okay, you get what you pay for. But the radiator was not working, after going to the reception and back to the room on the 4th floor (no lift, narrow stairs), it wasn't fixed. I had to call the reception 2 times to get the portable heater and they didn't fix the radiator during our stay.

The best thing about this hotel was the location. It's 10 minutes from the Paddington station with direct connection to the Luton airport by coach. We went to London for Winter Wonderland and we got there within 20 minutes which was convenient.

The bathroom had a strong odor. Our booking was changed to a basement last minute. Couldn't sleep well cause we could feel the train rating the whole room. Very uncomfortable. Only thing good was the location of the building.

I understand at the price you pay you get what you pay for however I feel the rooms need alot of tlc just to make the stay feel more comfortable. The facilities in the room need updating aswell as plug sockets and stating toiletries were given ended up being a bar of soap.

The staff were lovely and made us feel very welcome and for that reason we would stay here again

There are several aspects of this hotel that left me disappointed. Firstly, the absence of an elevator can be inconvenient, especially for those with mobility concerns. Additionally, the outdated decor and less-than-firm beds, coupled with limited healthy breakfast options, made for a less comfortable and satisfying stay.

I'm highly impressed with this hotel due to its exceptional location. It's conveniently situated near both a train station and Heathrow Airport, providing hassle-free travel. The added bonus of having numerous shops nearby enhances the overall convenience, making this hotel an excellent choice for any traveler.

Sick of booking.com hotels assigning us pokey little rooms in the basements of their properties!!
    • Leisure trip

We got stuck in a pokey little room in the basement!! No view out the tiny window. No bedside table to put your glasses or jewelry on when you went to bed. Kettle had to be placed on the floor to work because the cord was too short for the high shelf. A big noisy fan was in the room because it was so muggy and musty smelling. Shower did not drain so had to have short showers so the water did not spill over onto the floor. Bed was the narrowest single bed I've ever slept in! Toilet room had the dimmest light bulb ever. Sink tap was loose on the sink and rattled around when you tried to turn on the water.

Location was as expected. We have stayed in similar hotels in Norfolk Square before. Our favourite hotel there is currently closed for renovation. There were lots of plugs available in the room.
