Warm, clean and well equipped could do with airing as initially a little musty. Would use again should I need to go into Cannock.

There’s nothing to not like

Easy to find and park up and access was simple. Very clean, warm and well modernised throughout. It had everything thing we needed and was close to all the places we wanted to visit.

Mattress was very soft, but still comfy enough for a nights sleep.

The kitchen was well equipped and overall a clean and pleasant place to stay. Coffee and hot chocolate packets were a lovely surprise.

The mattresses could do with being replaced as we all felt the springs in the mattress and wasn’t as comfortable as it could be.

The property was easy to find and it had everything we needed for the night. The kitchen was well kitted out and the smart tv was great and easy to use.

Only 1 set of keys for group of 7 wasnt ideal could have done with anothet set Shower stopped working - freezing cold water in december not ideal - was a number to call but couldnt get our will an hour later, which would have been 2 late as we were getting ready for xmas party so couldnt shower had to sink wash. Other than them minor issues was great place to stay

I really cannot find anything to be critical of. I can make some observations, but they are not criticisms. There is no dedicated parking, but we were able to park on the street directly outside the accommodation with no issues. If you wanted to go out for a drink/meal in the evening within walking distance the choice is limited but the facilities within the cottage are so good, I'd recommend eating in. Electric showers can be tricky to negotiate, I'm not a fan as they are not very energy efficient. UK residents will mostly understand the workings and it will be fine, just remember that as the shower supply is plumbed into the rest of the water supply/combi boiler, using the other sink/kitchen taps, and loo! will affect flow rate and alter the temperature of the shower, overseas visitors unused to this type of appliance will probably get frustrated by it. I'd recommend a pumped shower unit with a separate hot water/mains supply and traditional condensing boiler and tank, obviously more costly to install but cheaper/"greener" to run and the shower experience would be more in keeping with the high standard of the rest of the accommodation. Proximity to the M6 Toll is great for quickly getting places but if you are travelling around during the day, I'd recommend excluding toll roads from your Satnav! I was not too sure what to do with the keys on check out, but I just locked up and posted them thru the door which seemed fine.

The accommodation was exceptionally clean. Beds, furniture and fittings and fixtures were all to a high standard. For self-catering the kitchen was exceptional with what I would call "show home" level of appliances and utensils and cutlery. Smart TVs in just about every room, I did observe that previous occupants left their Netflix account linked to the TV, be sure to unlink before you leave! With Asda and Sainsburys megastores within 5mins drive it was easy to economically stock up on provisions, also they had what must be the cheapest fuel in the country! We were looking for a base for a family of five as we are relocating to Birmingham area and were viewing properties and this accommodation was perfect for our needs and exceeded our expectations.

Shower temperature hard to set and can’t run tap in kitchen at same time as shower as not enough water pressure.

Water pressure in bath room was low, shower was hot and cold., however we were able to manage to have a bath after running hot water tap for a while.
