The room was cold and smelt of cheap/industrial cleaning product. Bed linen and pillows are cheap, synthetic and uncomfortable. The gym/pool is not exclusive to the hotel (i.e. it has members from Leeds city) so gets very busy. Don't come expecting a chill time by the pool - it's more like a leisure centre. Worst of all, even though our room was 2 floors above the gym it literally ROCKED (not in a good way) from the incredibly loud dance music of the HIIT classes that didn't finish until after 8pm and then started again at 9am on a Saturday and Sunday.

Cold Buffet very limited in choice. Little fresh fruit. Hot breakfast eggs option limited to scrambled eggs, would have preferred fried egg option.

Would be helpful to have either a plug socket or phone charging point next to the bed . The Lighting in our room wasn’t that great . Pillows and mattress not that comfy . Thought that use of the pool would be included in our room rate .

We ate dinner and breakfast and both were very good . Free parking at the weekends !! Staff were very friendly and helpful. Great location for our visit to The Emmerdale Tour

The room was clean however the bathroom is a bit worse for wear and needs a spruce and limescale in the bathroom.

Maintenance - Building could use some freshening up. Heating didn’t work properly; electric sockets next to the bed (room 102) were broken.

The hotel was aimed at a very much younger clientele (we are 74 and 66) so the in house food and beverage facilities weren't to our taste, although the other guests were clearly enjoying themselves. Parking was a bit congested.

The location of the hotel was ideal for us and we found an excellent Greek restaurant nearby for dinner. The room was clean and our breakfast was fine.

Bathroom tap didnt work then you leave it 10 minutes then would start . Disappointed as I could not cancel one room when number of travellers changed .

The sink was very dirty. A brown rim around the plug hole and gunge around the nozzle of the hand wash was very off putting. The mirrors also need to be cleaned better.

Feeling tired in places, communal corridors and rooms need a refresh

Spent 1 night here after a day of meetings as was too tired to drive home. I was a little disappointed with the hotel part of the building. The bed was very hard and there was a musty smell in the corridor’s and room. It was ok but definitely is ready for a refresh throughout the accommodation

Scrambled could have been warmer. I left something behind and couldn’t contact them to find out if it was there to collect. As no one answered the phone.

Breakfast was not good. The items were not there in the pans. Had to scrap from the vessels the items like baked beans etc. Wasn't replenished properly. Had to order veg sausages etc. and took long time.

The lounge and bar facilities were great. Room was tidy and decent modern finish. Hot water was good. TV was sufficient sized.

The room wasn't ready at 3pm to check in (3pm being rather late anyway generally speaking) The pool was overrun with children having swimming lessons and young families. The pub / bar was very busy with only one chap serving. I'm pretty sure i heard someone in the room next door or above me sneezing. The soap in the room was a very strong smell which lingered on my hands.

The room was very clean, smelt amazing. Late check out of 11am
