I didn't do a good job reading the instructions so it took a bit to figure out the directions to the house and the code to get in. The hotel staff was very helpful.

There cannot be a better location with as scenic a view in at least Portree, and maybe Skye. Beautifully decorated with luxury appointments, and attentive property manager. Huge deck with hot tub with direct view of iconic Portree painted buildings on harbor. Also located directly at the entrance to the Scorrybreac Trail. Absolutely perfect.

Just phenomenal! If you want to feel special and really have an amazing time this is the place. The guest house is beautiful and with the best view on the island and a short walk to the Portree town (5 mins). It is an extension of a beautiful hotel so you have your privacy but with all the amenities of a high end hotel (breakfast, access to dinner, cleaning service, etc…) The hot tub with a full view of the lake is the perfect place to end the day after a hike and they have thought of it all - fully stocked mini fridge with gin tonic, beers and everything for a capuchino. Truly worthwhile - highly recommend.

Accommodations and staff are amazing! Location is perfect with beautiful views of Loch Portree and mountains; close to town. Incredible breakfasts included in the price (just a short walk up private drive to the Cuillin Hills Hotel). Mini bar and hot tub. Highly recommend.

However, we can confidently say that Vriskaig Luxury Guest Suite in Portree, Scotland, is the best place we have ever stayed! From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the iconic and breathtaking views, exceptional service, and world-class amenities. Leah and Edward, the hosts, were amazing and went above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect. Every detail was thoughtfully considered, from the plush bathrobes to the fully stocked mini bar. The hot tub was clean and modern, and the perfect place to relax after a long day of exploring the stunning Scottish countryside. And let me not forget the breakfast provided at the next door hotel was a great Scottish and continental spread and was complimentary! We also appreciated how quickly they provided us with a portable AC when we found the night temperature a bit warmer than we preferred. Their prompt attention to our comfort was impressive. Moreover, the property decor is so contemporary and beautiful. It's clear that a lot of thought went into creating a stylish and comfortable space that perfectly complements the natural beauty of the surroundings. We've stayed at some of the world's most luxurious accommodations, but Vriskaig Luxury Guest Suite was even better than staying at a Four Seasons resort! This property is the ultimate in comfort, style, and service, and Leah and Edward are fantastic hosts. We cannot recommend it enough. Would have liked a small bench inside the front door for putting shoes on, a few hooks for hanging wet raincoats and an additional mat inside front door so as to keep wet and muddy boots off the beautiful wood floors.

The view was amazing! Walking distance to shops and restaurants. Hot tub! Fully stocked mini bar. Lovely finishes throughout the suite. Welcoming host!

Honestly this was the most beautiful and special place that I have ever stayed. The view is magical, you can really feel the calm of the nature around you. You can see how they thought about every detail in this villa, the decor is on point and I just felt like I didn't want to leave at all. I truly recommend this amazing place.

The only thing that was a little distracting was conversations we could hear from the main house. It was louder than I would have liked.

The accommodations were exceptional, as was the service. The guest suite is simply stunning with a deck overlooking the water. It is located close to the town and within easy walking distance of a number of outstanding restaurants. Catherine and Edward are exceptional hosts who will assist with anything you need, from restaurant reservations to giving advice on things to do while staying on the Isle of Skye.

Breakfast was excellent, lots of choice and great views. The location of the guest house is fantastic with uninterrupted views across the water to Portree. Our hosts were very attentive and helpful ensuring our stay was everything we expected. Our room was beautifully decorated, with a great sound system. I would definitely stay here again.
