Very comfortable accommodation which felt very homely. Simon was a great host and made excellent recommendations locally. The location was perfect - close enough to walk into Bushmills for a meal and a distillery tour and an easy drive to so many beautiful places on the north coast. We were so close to the Giant's causeway, which meant we were able to go early (at 8am) and be one of the few people there before the busloads descended! We stayed 2 nights, but would have loved to stay longer.

Even better than expected! The location was super peaceful with 3 lovely dogs to keep us company. We really appreciated the attention to detail which made our stay extra special. The kitchen was well equipped for all our needs. Would 100% recommend.

Although there was a control for the heat we couldn't find instructions and struggled to use it and at times felt cold but then weren't able to set it to go off. I'm sure if you knew how to work it it would be perfect but we didn't find it easy. The wood burning stove was also a lovely feature but there was no poker to rake it out for reuse the next evening. Also the logs were a bit on the big side and didn't light easily so again not ideal though we did enjoy it when it was lit.

This was a very comfortable, well equipped apartment in walking distance from Bushmills. The bed was very comfortable too and everything was spotlessly clean.

The shower was a bit temperamental - very hot and then cold but it didn’t matter too much for us.

Situated on the edge of Bushmills town it is just a 15 minute walk to shops, restaurants and cafes. The property is a two bedroom cottage with a spacious lounge/kitchen area. It has all the equipment/facilities you need for a comfortable stay. We found it to be clean, warm and welcoming.

Nothing could have been better

Simon and Belinda our gang Aston hosts. One of the highlights has to be their amazing dogs!!! It is an absolutely stunning property, quiet, set back, and just a perfect retreat but close enough to walk to town. Highly, highly recommended if you’re anywhere in the area!! Beautiful property, so homely and had everything we needed. Lovely kind host, we loved the resident dogs and cows. Beautiful waterfall river walk behind property and 5-10 mins away from beautiful unspoiled beaches. We’d definitely stay again if we’re in the area.

The bedrooms are very small - not much room to unpack anything or have space around the beds. We were 2 couples and we had to share the one (nice) bathroom. No separate toilet. Obviously we knew that when we booked and everything else more than made up for that slight inconvenience.

Very nicely decorated, with all the necessary amenities. Good bathroom and shower. Very friendly and helpful host. Nicely located in own grounds with nearby river and gardens. Bushmills is a good small town to stay in with nice cafés and restaurants.

location was grand! close to the village, lovely waterfall and river on the property and doggie welcome committee! the hosts were wonderful and very helpful. The accommodation was charming. We could have stayed a week there.

Every little detail was thought of - from the cosy hot water bottles, Tayto crisps, Tunnocks marshmallows and log basket filled to milk in the fridge and heating on at our arrival.

Unfortunately the cottage was quite cold when we arrived as the heating had a fault as it transpired but was soon repaired by the owners.

The cottage is homely,clean and inviting. The sort of place we would love to own as a holiday cottage. We had a lovely stay.
