We had Paid for our accommodation 5 days prior to arrival as per booking.com booking requirements although recieved emails and messages on the day of departure stating that the balance wasn't paid.i since made contact with the hotel and booking.com and was eventually reassured that this was a mistake and the balance was settled although this wasn't a nice way to end the stay.

The staff were lovely as were the rooms. On arrival we noticed that there was no remote controls for any of the tvs but after contacting receptions we were helped and given one.

Stayed here for a family occasion. The hotel was comfortable and the room was large. We were told that it might be noisy because there was a band on in the bar and we were given ear plugs!! We didn't need them as our room was located on the other side.

We were traveling as a fammily with a 2 year old. We arrived on a weekend day so they would have had music down stairs at the pub. As the room we booked was just up the pub, they were kind enough to chage us to an other room to make sure the baby would sleep. The room was very comfortable and nicely decorated.Thank you Ash and staff!

The Rain shower head in my room (101) was damaged resulting in water spraying everywhere but down. It had a secondary shower head which was fine and what I would've used in either case. Forgot to mention it when I left.

Not to have had the band and music going till 3.30 am in room below bedroom on night before mother’s funeral. Not to have had the early signs of silverfish infestation in bedroom. Promised email of receipt “in thirty minutes” did not arrive. Would have been nice to have had working light in bathroom on arrival (at night).
